Mejane
We are watching it on Netflix instant. I had no idea it was so funny! Anyone else?
KnitWit
I love The Office! I used to work for a man like that! LOL!
Dandelion
I love The Office! I used to work for a man like that! LOL! Me too! Until he was fired and I replaced him... :tongue_smilie:
nmoira
I've only seen the UK series, but I love it. :)
Pink Fairy
One of, if not THE, best show on TV. My dh and I were discussing Pavlov's dogs this morning with the kids, and of course I had to mention the episode with Dwight and the Altoids. If you haven't seen it yet, it's hilARious--yeppers! angela in ohio
Dh and I watch this. I think it is much funnier than he does, but then we disagree about Napoleon Dynamite, too. I think those who appreciate British shows usually appreciate The Office more. :D I don't like the episodes for a bit that went more mean on Michael. I like the more lighthearted approach. Hockey Mom
LOVE the Office! We watched it on Netflix (all of the seasons) a few months ago. Our DD was the big Office fan and convinced us that we HAD to see it. Now we're all hooked. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard at any tv show, than when Dwight showed up at Jim and Pam's wedding wearing that wolf t-shirt. I literally had tears from laughing so hard. texasmama
Love the older ones but I think it "jumped the shark" recently...dh and I agree that the ones with Erin as the secretary are just not as funny. I wonder if the writers have changed. (I also have a crush on Jim, of which my husband is aware.:tongue_smilie:)

elise1mds
My husband LOOOOOOOOVES it. Will NOT miss an episode. It cracks me up because in all the 10 years we've been married, I've never seen HIM be the one to get addicted to a show. Usually it's me. Remudamom
I love it. American version first, I usually am nuts over British humor, but somehow that version isn't as funny to me.
Chris in VA
Big fan here--ds turned me on to it. Like the older episodes more. Love the one where Jim says all the things he's done to Dwight--the "future Dwight" faxes, the quarters in the handset, the "scooting his desk closer to the copier" thingy--hilarious. Occasionally Michael will say something poignant, too--there's less of that, lately.
Laura Corin
I watched the UK version - I found it excruciatingly embarrassing to watch - like being at Christmas dinner whilst people drink a bit too much and all the family skeletons are displayed. Not fun. Laura

Not fun. Laura That analogy is perfect, and I totally agree. The British version is darker, and a most of the humor is sexual--just not as funny.
