BeckyFL
I had a friend who got me this for Christmas. Since I hadn't seen the commercial, I wasn't sure if I wanted to find room for another pan and I wasn't sure I would like it. Tried my first batch of Duncan Hines brownies in the new pan today. I have to admit I love it. They are so nice and square and .... perfect! LOL! The edges of each one is chewy/crisp and just better! Thought I'd pass it on. I think they're at Walmart for $20??? MariannNOVA
Now this is good to know. DD10 looks at that pan everytime we are in WalMArt and she will stop whatever she is doing if she walks through the room and the commercial is on:001_wub:...she is fascinated with that pan. I think that I will have to buy one. Mariann
stripe
I'd never seen that before. Reminds me of old style ice trays!
Amber in AUS
OMG, I have never seen anything like this. I want one, now!! I cooks loads of slices and that would be awesome. I will have to see if anyone is stocking them here. Thanks so much for sharing :D
4kiddies
I got one for Christmas from my kids and it really is great. Just remember to oil the divider pan or your brownies stick.
mathmom
Add my kids to the list of kids that really want this pan. We bake so often that it would get used. Is it difficult to clean?
melhouse
I'd never seen that before. Reminds me of old style ice trays! That's exactly what I told my husband when I saw the commercial. My ds, 7, wants me to get one. Maybe I will now that I've heard that it really works! Thanks for the PSA. Melissa
*Inna*
We love it here too. It really makes the perfect brownies! Just don't forget to oil the divider.

ereks mom
Reminds me of old style ice trays! I've seen the commercials, and I told dh I wanted a pan like that, but $20 seems steep to me.
OnTheBrink
Every time my dd sees it, she says, "How lazy do you have to be to buy a brownie pan that precuts the brownies?"
mom2abcd
In our family, the edges are the less desirable pieces. So maybe it would be a good diet plan:lol: Does it make each brownie as if it has four edge pieces? (More crusty and less gooey?)
Ferdie
Becky - the informercial said the pan is 11X7. Is that the size that you have? Did you use the brownie box mix for 8X8 or 9X13 size? It looks really interesting, and my b-day is around the corner.
In the Rain
I received one for Christmas. It seemed silly to me- especially since we are fans of gooey brownies. Maybe I'll have to give it a try though.
BeckyFL
I'll try to answer a few of the comments... I thought the same thing about why do I need a pan that cuts the brownies. I never would have purchased it for myself. We also stay away from edges at my house. The edges with this pan are different. The corners are still corners, but the other edges are not like a full pan edge. They are just perfectly chewy to me, yet a little crisp. The kids who ignore edges loved them. You use a 9 X 13 mix and I always make the Duncan Hines with 2 eggs (fudgey option). They turned out a bit thicker (and just these cute little perfect squares). LOL! I really didn't think I would like it quite so much! Baking time was the same... I actually took it out a little early, but I was watching because I have a new oven and it cooks a little differently. MommyX8
Isn't it Teflon? Totally a deal killer for me if it is.

stripe
I find brownies cut better if they are nice and cooled (some people refrigerate overnight), and I line the pan with foil so I cut them OUT of the pan. They may not be perfect but it's not too raggedy. I don't really make enough brownies to warrant a special pan! Cute though they are. Maybe try cookie cutters! stripe
Just curious -- not that I'm really thinking about getting one, but anyway -- what about something with multiple layers, like say a lemon bar. Is it more for soft batters than crispy bottom parts (esp the sort where one layer is prebaked)? Sounds like yes.
