patchfire
1st choice is local stores - we have a local homeschool store, plus "teacher supply" stores, and brick-and-mortar bookstores. 2nd choice is amazon. 3rd choice is Timberdoodle. 4th choice is Rainbow Resource. My "office" supplies come from Walmart, Office Max, etc. Online I use: amazon cbd rainbow resource timberdoodle homesciencetools BF Books (but shipping can be pricey if you don't chose media mail) book peddler lamp post homeschool I have also used Sandi Queen's website and Cornerstone. THese 2 can be a bit slow and have glitches, so just be aware.
fshinkevich
I use Amazon, Timberdoodle, and Officemax for the bulk of it, then buy specific things from the company that makes it like Pandia Press or Evan Moor.

ocean_eyes
We have seriously found a TON of our materials at 1/2 Price Books. I love that store. I ordered DSS's Singapore books, our maps, and our books for Ancients from Rainbow Resource. Most of our office/school-type supplies came from Walmart this year b/c I had gift cards from my mom. Radish4ever
Honestly, I've bought every single item of mine either online or at our Friends of the Library store. homeschoolclassifieds.com, this board's for sale section, ebay, amazon.com, half.com, etc. I have not bought a single thing "new" from "a company" :) I've bought from individual sellers and gotten some awesome deals!
