I agree! It seems to me that the point of most of the replies is that you, Jennifer, have the ability to stand up for yourself.
Sneaking out in the middle of the night is not much different than the path you've been on for all these years.
I would pack ahead of time. Then tell them you're going. Tell them why. Then drive away.
Don't give them the opportunity to abuse you further.
Hi Monica!
Don't worry about the age of your children. They'll be ready to start before you know it!
Having fun and letting your little experience the world isn't pushing them. It's loving them and enjoying life with them.
Don't you wish all kids were so fortunate?
Why don't you go now?
Why, Jennifer, do you not believe you are worth more than these people offer you?
You do not have to take this sort of behavior and pretend it doesn't bother you.
Go home. Tell them you won't take it anymore.
Be kind to yourself instead of being extra kind to those who are mean to you.

LOVE that book.
We spread each lesson over an entire week (2-3 sessions), reading additional library books about the artist and taking our time with the art project.
Which brand did you pick up at Costco?
Hunter has a tough time with his pencils. After writing more than a few lines he has to sharpen it again. He can't stand the sound and feel of dull pencil on paper.
I've tried a mechanical pencil, but it didn't hold up well. I suppose I bought an off brand. It was just and experiment after all.
Maybe a sturdy mechanical will help him.
How long did it take you to get used to interacting with the SparkPeople site?
I usually don't have too much problem, but there is so much to it that I feel overwhelmed and log off right away.
Have you any tips for a beginner?
I live just 30 miles north of the home in which I grew up.
My dad's family moved regularly when he was growing up and he hated it. He decided he would never ask his children to go to new schools or make new friends, those things that were so difficult for him as a kid.
They are still in the same house they bought 37 years ago, and my sisters and I all live within 40 miles.
Congratulations! What an accomplishment, Mindy.
Jeffrey just started the novel section and finished Don Quixote this week. He was excited to know that you've been at this for so long.
We run a small business together. His hours would be in the overtime category and mine somewhere between part and full time, depending on the time of year.
No different than a business card, are they?
Just a convenient way to share your information with someone who requests it.
And much easier to keep track of than phone numbers or addresses written on stray napkins or grocery store receipts.
I had a tough time with it, too. I continued to put it down for long periods of time, which didn't help matters.
I love his illustrated edition, though. The maps, letters and drawings included in each chapter are fascinating.
