Yeah, none of those HAVE to mayo based. In summer, I mostly make pasta salad with oil n vinegar with Italian seasonings and roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella, olives, peppers, onions and pepperoni. I DO like mayo based coleslaw though... :leaving:

I've been thinking about all the people who "liked" the picture and post of the children sleeping outside, on blankets in the mud when they were sick. I wonder if the parents already tend toward living in squalor (due to unknown reasons, but I'd guess mental illness and family of origin issues) and all the "likes" normalized their lifestyle? And made them think everything was relatively OK?

New Nurses here start at more than $30/hour. I can't keep track of everything but if you're making MORE than a nurse in a 2income family with a deal on housing...your debt must be huge. Or I misunderstood everything.

In my state, these tests are required for graduation. And at some schools, the tests are 30% of the second semester grade. So they mean a whole bunch. I taught classes that had to take these tests. I NEVER would have imagined showing a movie the last 3 instructional days.

I don't do a lot of freezing bc I don't really like the texture of many foods that have been cooked, frozen then thawed. One thing that I make that tastes good is shredded beef cooked in the crockpot with broth and seasonings. I freeze hamburger sized individual portions of this for lunches. We just throw it in a frying pan and it thaws in about 5 minutes. My DD loves it for lunches...she has it over a baked potato or on a roll. HTH
