  1. Hey Colleen :-)

I haven't had any time for the boards lately, just stopped by for a peek tonight and was so pleased to see that you're posting again. Hope all's well with you and yours!

  2. My nephew was born at 26 weeks (I think). From what I remember, he had the steroid injections for his lungs about a week before he was born. Things were very scary at first. The good news is that he is a happy, healthy 3 year old boy now - with no lasting issues.
  3. Never done it, but I've always wanted to. I think it's awesome that you're thinking about it, but please don't go alone! Gah. Too easy to get lost, or hurt, or assaulted... Take your hubby, or a friend, and take pictures!! (So I can live vicariously through you, cuz I know I'm never going to get around to it. :tongue_smilie:)
  4. Yes, this is by far my favorite. By Andrew Campbell (our very own "Plaid Dad").
  5. Oh no! Poor girl. Did you post on Soph's Ask the Vet social group? I know she tries to check that daily. Hope you can get someone out to see Shiloh soon.
  6. :iagree: It's good to see you around again, Mrs. Mungo :001_smile:
  7. I dunno. Perhaps they are wrongly assuming that making bad choices (i.e. poor eating habits, lack of self control, what have you) somehow equates to lack of intelligence. Nope. There are so many factors that can lead to obesity... but lack of intelligence certainly is not one of them.
  8. I agree. I'm sure there's more to your story that we don't know, and I'm so sorry that you're hurting, Karen. :grouphug: But please think long and hard before making any drastic decisions. A father is of immeasurable importance in a child's life.
  9. Thank you so much for the update, Yvette! :001_smile: I've been thinking about Rhonda every day, and I'm so glad to hear her surgery went well.
  10. Awwww, I'm so happy to hear that he picked himself a nice family. Hugs to you, RM - I know you'll miss him. :grouphug:
  11. Oh goodness, Cathy! How frightening! :grouphug::grouphug: I hope everyone's able to rest up today. Happy Mother's Day, dear. :001_smile:
  12. It's so good to hear from you, Jessica! I was thinking about you just the other day, wondering how life is going for you. So glad to hear that all is well. Good luck with your new job! :grouphug: Oh, I do. Indeed I do. :001_smile: Happy Mother's day, sweetie! :D
  13. You might also want to try breathing through your mouth as much as possible. Good luck! :001_smile:
  14. Congratulations, Sharon! You've really made something of yourself. :D
  15. Remudamom's slurpin' the old mystery mix. Enjoy! (Slainte) :cheers2:
  16. Oh, I'm so sorry! Hope you find a new buyer soon. :grouphug:
