  1. Good thoughts being sent your way. I hope you are on your way to be with your son and he gets to feeling better.
  2. The only component that doesn't have answers in the back of the book (workbook, TESTS, Extra Practice, CWP, IP on the U.S side) is the workbook. They are in the Teacher Guide.
  3. Harper Eden Delaney Brooke Betheny Bridget
  4. You're right about Singapore (SE) 6A & 6B being different. There is a Teacher's Guide instead of a HIG. I've been browsing through it. Definitely not as helpful as the HIG, but better than nothing. I need to look at it further. Crimson is correct about MIF. It has tons of helpful information/teaching guidance. (I have MIF C-1)
  5. Thank-you for the info. I just ordered Voyage two days ago. LOL :thumbup1: This has been an extremely enlightening thread.
  6. I wanted to bump this post. Has anyone experienced problems signing up for the free 14-day trial with uzinggo? I punch in all the info, but it just goes back to the beginning. (?) TIA
  7. I have Saxon 7/6 + Saxon Teacher. I just checked out Lesson 1. Everything that is in the textbook, the tutor says on the cd-ROM. She explains everything in detail. Hope that helps you.
  8. I agree with momto8.......I use to commute 70 minutes one way. It's a royal pain, very expensive, and you lose so much of your day after you've worked all day (or night) and are already exhausted. Sounds like you guys need to sit down and talk about what you both need/want. I would start a building fund immediately. Good luck to you.
  9. You might also check out Time 4 Learning. I've read in other forums moms that say the algebra was a perfect fit for their child. Just a thought. (it would come with three other courses for, I believe, $30/mo.) Good luck.
  10. I tip nothing less than 25%. I used to be a waitress and would never do it again. LOL
  11. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.
  12. I could have written a lot of your post. I'm sorry your DD is being excluded. It does make your heart hurt.
  13. Thank-you for the information, Wildiris. Keep 'em coming. LOL
  14. I'm also interested in finding someone who has used MIF for the middle grades. I don't think DM will give *me* enough support to teach my DC. I had heard Crimson express that the Teacher Editions had lots of good info. Anyone? TIA. (Not trying to take over your post, freesia.)
  15. We're moving as well. It's so much work. I'm feelin' your pain. LOL Just go from room to room, cleaning out, taking out, deciding what you're keeping, what your unloading, etc. Also decide, if anything, what needs to be done to each room as in repairs. Make your list about what has to happen and go from there. It's definitely daunting. I just visualize each room or task singularly, so as not to become overwhelmed. Good luck.
  16. I can so totally relate. We have six more weeks and I'm burnt out. Definitely nothing wrong with slowing down a tad.
  17. Well, we're not to high school yet, but I have an Aspie, just like what you described. You're definitely not alone. I know what you mean about the hair pulling. (LOL--I have to laugh or I'd cry.) I wish you only the best.
  18. I'm totally burnt as well. I'm not even looking forward to ordering next year's materials. Must be the crud I had last month.
  19. She's something......but, peach isn't the word that keeps coming to mind. I feel so bad for your DD, Tiramisu.
  20. We possibly might have to make this very decision in two to three years. I'm hoping everyone will keep weighing in. It's giving me a lot to think about.
