  1. My son had emergency surgery (accompanied by my DH) and my dad has been to the ER twice and stayed overnight in the hospital. Everyone managed to stay Covid free. ❤️
  2. Mine doesn't have it either. I've looked on all the documentation and on the website.
  3. Reading this I assumed it would be a paid position. While it can be easy to find a tutor for a student, she's really looking for a tutor for both of them. It can be hard to find someone who will help a homeschooling mom get her footing. Lots of educational consultants/tutors are really pushing a pro public school agenda. I have paid both tutors and homeschooling coaches over the course of our homeschool - and we are "real" and "invested" homeschoolers. 🤷‍♀️
  4. Have you tried Prozac? (For the cat 😉 )
  5. The ACDC videos are what got us through the Macro class, although my student didn't take the exam because of Covid.
  6. I am also sensitive to chicken, and oats. 🤣 I’ll look in the SD. Thanks!
  7. The itching started before the oats, but I agree they could be contributing.
  8. She’s been on Apoquel, which helped but was super expensive. I’m also not sure if I think it’s a great idea to medicate her without solving the root issue. I haven’t tried Benadryl.
  9. Can y'all please help me with dog food?? I'm overwhelmed. We have a 5 yo, 50 lb Golden Retriever. She tends towards stomach issues, and she is insanely itchy. She is currently eating Pura Vita Duck and Oatmeal food with a scoop of pumpkin puree. It is supposed to be "limited ingredient" but the list of ingredients seems super long. She was eating a grain free variety of this brand previously, but the vet said to add grains. I'm assuming that the food is causing the itchiness or at least contributing to it. (She's been to the vet and has medicated shampoo.) I want to try switching her to a different food and maybe some fish oil? The problem is that there is so much contradictory information about dog food - and I just can't muster any more effort on this topic. I am considering Honest Kitchen, maybe? I'm not sure I can commit to something that requires fridge space like Farmer's Dog. I'd prefer U.S. ingredients only. Please help. 😬
  10. There is a really active and helpful FB group called "Homeschool and NCAA Academic Eligibility" if you are interested.
  11. I'll send you an email. I think I have a better solution for you. 😉
  12. I am really excited to be teaching an online photography class for teens. I know that there has been previous board interest in photography so I wanted to share here. Feel free to message me with any questions! http://www.dodgeandburnphotoschool.com
  13. We haven't left our home (except to walk the dog) since the beginning of March. Our neighbors have daily pool parties. My rage is overwhelming.
  14. Where did this update come from? I am still not seeing this online.
  15. The sheer incompetence of how this has been handled is mind blowing.
  16. I use them in the back of the spice drawer to shove the other spices forward. 🤣
  17. Our French door refrigerator came with the house. No amount of organizing has relieved the need to open both doors every single time. It is... not my favorite.
  18. The videos seem to play with controls if I use Safari. So we are going to do that for an immediate fix. GPB did email me back to say that they are working to fix the things that broke during the transition to the new website.
  19. Done. I also filled out the automated "are you having a problem?" form.
  20. We are using the old Georgia Public Broadcasting Chemistry videos. Today we discovered that the video access had changed and the videos are now embedded in the webpage. As a result the viewer cannot see the full image, cannot see how much time is left in the video, and cannot move forward or back within the video. It really renders the videos unusable because if there is an equation you can only see half of the written work. Do these videos exist anywhere else like YouTube? I've tried searching and googling, but cannot find anything. Help!
  21. To me, the fact that they are taking this vacation means that they are not "taking all precautions". There is NO way I would be participating, as disappointing as that may feel.
  22. For me it means no sugar, no fruit, no honey, no artificial sweeteners, nothing that tastes "sweet". I also eat below 20 g of carbs, so no rice, grains, etc, but I don't normally refer to those as sugars.
  23. Thank you for all of this - super helpful. I decided to purchase 5 classes and give it a try. It is all much easier to understand from the dashboard!
  24. Okay, I think we need to look elsewhere. HSA told me that after the free class they could provide placement info. Now I'm being told that they can't give any feedback based on that meeting and we need to sign up for lessons and after that they will say where the student lands in their curriculum.
