  1. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: This thread brings back such memories. No advice, just hugs.
  2. LOL Changing your major is so common, I think colleges must be surprised when they don't change majors!
  3. I just wanted to say thanks for all this info. My daughter is working on her common app, and it's overwhelming. She homeschooled, took college courses and also did accredited online courses, so trying to sort out all those is .... oh my.
  4. She might be trying to tell you something. Have you considered that she may have a health issue? She might be sick. A complete workup at the vet might give you an idea?
  5. This group was in our town yesterday to protest at the funeral of a soldier. They didn't get a warm welcome. A few of the counterprotesters were pretty hateful too. The Patriot Guard bikers were also here. (Videos are on youtube.) Please watch a documentary on Netflix about Westboro called "Fall From Grace". That family is hoping that they can bait people into doing anything that can be called assault so they can sue them. The best tactic is to ignore them. And maybe make a donation in their name to an organization that they hate. Then send WBC a very very nice note letting them know about the generous donation you've made in their name :D.
  6. I do it sooo often I couldn't begin to count them all.
  7. Been doing it for years. No problems at all with my printer and I save a heap of $. I use a Canon with chipped cartridges, so I got a chip resetter on ebay thats worked since the beginning (just a plastic doohickey that you set the cartridge on- does it automatically in a second. Really.) Research which ink to buy and order online- don't buy the cheap pack at WallyWorld. It's garbage. You'll still save lots of money in the long run. I buy black ink in an 8 or 16 oz bottle and colors in smaller bottles. Seriously it's not that hard and works great if you do your homework. Ummm, be sure to put down a paper and be sure not to knock over your bottle. Once is all it takes to learn that lesson. :)
  8. I had a bowl of homemade shrimp gumbo in my hand as I saw this thread. :001_smile: A king cake is in the works. And probably soon paczkis too.
  9. Thanks! I see yall too and you're great. Maybe I'm more like the Cheshire cat. Sometimes here, sometimes invisible.;)
  10. Have him install a good vented exhaust fan! Don't cover it up- get it outa there!!! :ack2:
  11. Poor baby. I'm wondering too if he's just weak. cold and hasn't been eating. Maybe not a neurological issue? And yes, a mom cat will be giving his bottom attention numerous times a day. He needs that in order to "do his business". So you'll need to help him out.
  12. Or get $10 off $30 code cybermonday10 :D (But I don't think you can combine them.)
  13. Have you asked your dr about an MSM supplement? Some folks say it helped. (And I second a sulfate free shampoo.)
  14. Don't use tea tree oil on kitties! Not that anyone said to, but just so you know-It might work great for people, but it's quite toxic to cats.
  15. Me too! I'm just starting on this and would appreciate seeing some examples.:001_huh: Thanks!
  16. I picked 4 :D • Amaretto: lightly almond flavored cake infused with amaretto, filled and iced with almond buttercream, garnished with toasted sliced almonds. • Orange Blossom: vanilla cake made with a touch of fresh orange juice & orange zest, brushed with orange liqueur, filled and iced with creamy vanilla buttercream. • Frangelico: mildly flavored hazelnut cake soaked with hazelnut liqueur, filled with hazelnut chocolate, and iced with chocolate frangelico buttercream. • Tiramisu Cake: layers of espresso-soaked cake, filled with slightly tangy cream cheese kahlua filling, and iced with sweetened whipped cream. Edged with chocolate curls. About $30 ?
  17. When you open the window to do your post, there is a little button to insert the photo. (It looks like a tiny "mountain".) That will let you paste in the URL (the "web address"). Then it should put the photo in your post. :001_smile: I like to put photos so folks can see what they're buying. I see you beat me to it ;^)
