My ds has learned so much from reading Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes for hours every day. For instance, when he was diagnosed with amblyopia, he already knew what it was and how it was treated because Sally had it. The dr. was floored. Peanuts has been the springboard for many, many philosophical discussions at my house as well.
Calvin has presented more of a problem. It has given ds a few less-than-desirable one-liners. :glare:
