  1. Same story here. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet in such a way. :grouphug:
  2. I love Dexter (the show), too! Right now we are remodeling our kitchen and there is plastic sheeting up everywhere. I walked into the kitchen recently and I told dh I felt like I was in an episode of Dexter (minus the blood, thankfully) :tongue_smilie:.
  3. My ds has learned so much from reading Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes for hours every day. For instance, when he was diagnosed with amblyopia, he already knew what it was and how it was treated because Sally had it. The dr. was floored. Peanuts has been the springboard for many, many philosophical discussions at my house as well. Calvin has presented more of a problem. It has given ds a few less-than-desirable one-liners. :glare:
  4. We have two android phones with unlimited text and data and 3000 shared minutes and pay $167/mo including taxes. We are with T-Mobile.
  5. Thank you so much for posting this. We will be starting up with Classiquest in a month or so and it really helps to see it in action :001_smile:.
  6. Could you make a donation to an animal welfare organization that she likes in the names of her pets? Or, an engraved marker for her garden with their names?
  7. I am really hoping it is made available at PHP soon, too. I went to Cincy but had to leave just before that lecture due to a death in the family.
  8. Thanks for sharing this! We just finished reading Escape! here.
  9. I am so glad to hear this wonderful news! :grouphug:
  10. I have not used RD or FS yet. I do have FS and am looking forward to getting started on it with ds. I have not yet purchased RD, just looked at online samples. I'm planning to try to see it at the Midwest HS Convention. We literally just started Orbiting with Logic but did do Logic Liftoff first and really enjoyed it. LL was totally secular and I'm assuming Orbiting is too, it appears to be. I have Classiquest and have been compiling all the materials (got our microscope today :D) Classiquest seems like exactly what I need for science. I loved RSO but have given up waiting for their new products.
