  1. :grouphug:, praying for you and the rest of the family.
  2. These are great ideas. I think I can find some of the supplies around the house and check the dollar store for the rest. Thanks.
  3. I'll like to make a snow day kit with things to decorate snowman, pens for drawing in the snow, moulds to build a fort, something to make snowballs etc. Any ideas on how to do this frugally? Thanks.
  4. Family room- moss green and love it. It is so forgiving of stains etc. Living room- deep chocolate. Love it too.
  5. :iagree: with previous posters. In addition sometimes people are admitted to have a full evaluation of their symptoms and signs. They may be admitted to administer treatment that should at least be started in hospital like ECT, sleep deprivation etc.
  6. Thanks, I forgot about Singapore IP and CWP. I'll look into those.
  7. my 5.5 yr old son ( will turn 6 in January) will complete cle math 1 this week and math mammoth 1b next week. Does any body have any suggestions on what to do next other than moving to the next book? Or should I just move on? He knows his addition/ subtraction facts to 12 and working on multiplication with games and flashmaster. I just don't want to rush along if we could be doing something else. Thanks for all the great advice.
  8. Congratulations. I completed it early this year, ran my first 5k but fell off the wagon. This is motivation enough for me to get back on. :001_smile:
  9. Congratulations. She is so beautiful. :001_smile::001_smile::001_smile:
  10. Thanks. I'll start the paypal proceedings and plan on leaving a deserving feedback.
  11. :grouphug: I say just come straight out and tell her the improvements you have made to your diet etc and acknowledge there is room to do more. Ask for ideas on how to stay on target and all that.
  12. I bought items on the for sale thread a while ago that was not anything like advertised. I got in touch with the seller who got mad and said she would refund my money and I should keep the items. I insisted on sending them back ( no address visible on the box) She later got in touch and told me to send it on to someone else who had paid her for the items. I was worried about that and told her so but she said as homeschoolers we should be trustworthy. Anyway I sent the items with delivery confirmation and it arrived over 2 weeks ago. I have contacted her several times but she has stopped responding to my pms. I am yet to get a refund so I am out of the original amount(substantial) and the cost of sending it on. (I was lenient initially because I had a situation in the past when I received payment but could not send the item for longer than is acceptable. I sent the items later and gave the patient buyer a refund for the full cost of the items) What would you do in a situation like this?
  13. Your daughter is awesome. Tell her I'll be using her statement too.
  14. Praying for your mom and the rest of the family. :grouphug:
  15. I am still waiting for my refund

  16. Thanks for asking. Sorry I updated on other boards but forgot to do so here. I got in touch with the head office and got a call from both the store manager and an email from the area manager a few days later. They apologized about what had happened and had a talk to their staff about it. They also said no records were kept or sent to the police. I still don't plan to shop there though.
  17. I went with ETC1 after the primers with my DS and it worked out well. We used alphaphonics at the same time. Or you could consider the rod and staff A to G work books which my son like too.
