  1. Thanks everyone. The website is too busy for me to take it all in. My DS is comfortable with basic math up to basic division and usually likes math books. I'll start with the arithmatriks book and see how it goes.
  2. I'll like to know if the books are best read in any particular order and if the 10 pack set has all the books in it. Has anyone used it with a 6 year old.he loves to read and enjoys life of Fred and his currently working in ice cream. Thanks.
  3. Hi, my DS and DD have taken and passed the history and psychology CLEP exams so I may be able to help. They used REA , REA crash course, and Princeton AP US history book which were helpful. They watched a couple of movies on the Hippocampus history site also. They already had 2 years of US and world history using mystory of history audio CD and story of the world. We have Tindall and Shea though they did not use it much. There is a website Clepprep that is very helpful and has well layed out lesson plans. There is a yahoo group attached too. HTH.
  4. What are the Cornell notes called? could you please post a link. Thanks.
  5. This is a great thread ?. Any other ideas for interesting math aside from AOPs?
  6. I've only heard of quads with two queen beds. That's what happens when my DS goes on such trips with his choir.
  7. The customer service lady said the app has the same content as the corresponding level. The app has videos for each lesson. I already have the manipulatives and bought the word problem books. Hope that helps.
  8. I just spoke to hands on equation customer service rep who said that the apps and the corresponding workbook cover the same thing so there is no need to buy both. I'll go ahead and buy the verbal problems books only. She also mentioned that they are working on level III app.
  9. A Monday morning bump just in case anybody has used both. I want to order the verbal word problem books but now sure if I need the other work books or if the app has it all. Thanks.:001_smile:
  10. Anyone ? Should I buy the work books?
  11. How does the app compare to the hands on equation work books? I'm wondering if I need to get the workbooks. My ds6 loves the app and we already picked up the pawns and cubes at a library sale. Thanks.
  12. have you used it ? Any feedback? Thanks.
