  1. Yes. I tried Google Chrome and Firefox on the desktop, which was suggested by Blackboard Learn IT staff. We used Google Chrome on the laptop. Thanks - I appreciate you trying to help!
  2. It's making me crazy over here!!!! Today, was the second time we had trouble getting into the classroom! This time we called the Blackboard Learning IT Support department! They are clueless! So get this, they access my computer remotely and STILL cannot get into the WTMA classroom. Then they tell me it's WMTA fault because they sent me an Old Access Link to the classroom. After we get off the phone w/blackboard, DH says let's try the laptop, and then we get in to class! This is the second time we get into class 15 mins late. HELLO Blackboard IT - If I can get into class in a laptop, but not into the class in desktop, that is not a WTMA issue! Blackboard told me to go to WTMA. WTMA doesn't know why I can't get into the classroom on the laptop and not the desktop.... My dh was home with the laptop today, so we were able to use it. Usually, he takes it to work, so I cannot rely on dh's computer every week for class. Has anybody ever had a problem getting in WTMA classes and what did you do to troubleshoot? We emptied the cookies like it is suggested but still couldn't get into class today. :banghead: :banghead:
  3. We ask our insurance what the code should be to be covered for the services, then we tell our provider. He is very accommodating and if it is a code not covered will ask me what code it should be. It really should NOT be a problem. It is done all. the. time. If you ever go into a doc's office In-network provider and they take care of the insurance for you and a code does not work, the doc's office will fix it to code it so the Doc's office gets paid.
  4. This--> autophagy ----is a new word! I love it! Over a year ago, I did a CLEAN Fast for 3 weeks, basically a shake or soup twice a day and 1 small meal. I loved it so much! Great things happened like wrinkles gone! And skin so smooth! I wanted to continue the fast after 3 wks but I kept missing actually chewing and crunching foods. This past summer I read a book that went over all the different fasts (1 day, 3 day, week and intermittent). I started doing 16 hr fasting in the morning. But weekends , I will eat 2 meals a day which includes breakfasts. I need to read Dr. Fung's book! Off to read!
  5. :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: So Cool!

  8. My first thought is ---- You put too much water in!!!! I use 1 cup max for pot of potatoes. I just made stuffed cabbage with 3/4 c. water.
  9. I had panic attacks, too. But for me, a gluten-free diet got rid of it! All of the heart beat stuff and the anxiety attacks. If I eat gluten, I have tested this time & again, I start having panic attacks. Go figure!
  10. :lurk5: If you can do Friday after Thanksgiving Day, I can come............... :leaving: :tongue_smilie:
  11. Hmmmm, me and hubby walked together down the aisles. It 's part of our church tradition. There is no giving the bride away in our church, unless someone wants it. :)
  12. Oooh, I am JUST seeing this now. I would love to meet up but I know we will not be able to do Sept/OCt. Oh well :( August, yes!
  13. We booked to very different locations because WEATHER.....Not worth us 9 hrs just to see clouds! We will drive where it will be a Sunny Day to see it!!! 100% Totality or Bust! :coolgleamA:
  14. Interesting.....we read it this year and I vaguely remember it ......What was the sentence again???....I thought I read it as he is describing them as eyes constantly open, like in shock, he was using the word "lidless" to describe their expression????
  15. Boy, I just read the OP again and realized I am totally OFF. SO Sorry! I THOUGHT you were looking for a Guidance Counselor type of person NOT examples of couselor recommendation writings! :leaving:
  16. I was looking, too. I found this from somewhere on another group website. I am seriously looking into them. I want to know how much, tho! uncommonapplication.com I'm listening in......
  17. Your house is beautiful! Three months is too early to give up. You are only looking for one buyer that likes your home. It's tough to sell a home. It took 8 months to sell ours last year. We kept worrying that the house needed updating. We kept doing different things, even adding quartz countertops. We stopped doing stuff to the house and it sold 5 months later. Just hang in there! In the mean time get the Happy light. My sister uses it and she lives in the Northeast!
  18. This book has been very successful with my ds "The Excema Diet" by Karen Fischer. We found out that my son cannot anything MSG including natural MSG such as tomatoes, plums, grapes, raisin, mushroom, spinach, broccoli, kale.
  19. My prayers are with you and your family! :grouphug:
  20. We just move back to PA (after being gone 25 yrs). We homeschooled ds this yr for the 1st time in PA, we moved from MD. I was concerned about the homeschooling laws until I checked some websites out. It is amazing easy to homeschool in PA. Recently, the laws changed that you don't go through the school districts but find a teacher certified by PA (mostly homeschooling Moms- surprise, surprise) to be your evaluator. Also, the PARENT diploma is now recognized by the State of Pennsylvania, if done correctly. Just find the evaluator that is aligned to your schooling and you are set to go! In Maryland, the State does not recognize a diploma issued by the parent. My only concern about Pittsburg is crime. I don't know the crime statistics but having grown up in Philly, Pittsburg was just as bad with crime but that was over 25 yrs ago, so a lot can change. There are a lot more homeschooling groups around the major cities than where I live now in PA. A small city in the middle of the state.
  21. You need sound engineers for radio stations, don't you??? Temple University in Philly might have a sound engineer program. I know they have a Jazz Station. There is a "Rock Music School" in Frederick and kids can jam and also record. FrederickRockSchool.com (for some reason I can't paste the link.) "a combination of music lessons facility and after school rock and roll community center for ages 5- Adult. Students learn to play guitar, etc.....AND Record Engineering......"
