How about A Reason for Writing or Draw Right Now? HWT looks...well...not that great, to say the very, very least. (disclaimer-though I am sure those out there just love it and it works great for them.)

We just use ETC, Bob books and Nora Gaydos books. My kids are all natural born readers, they started very young.

I never get the church question at hs groups I've attended. I have though had to sit through others discussing their divorces :rolleyes: for about 15 min then ended up leaving. It's difficult to find a group that really is 'all inclusive' around here. Hope you find a group!

No but I have used Full size sheets on all the twin beds. I wish there were something larger than King size because I would use those for our bed! Seems all the king sheets are too small no matter what I purchase. Very frustrating!

Yes, Karate. My kids love it. Great for cordination too! They can get all their frustrations out there:) My brother is a black belt who has won several State and National Championships. So, he's a pretty decent teacher;)

I just got an IM from someone on here telling me I gave them a neg and I said 'hu'. When my box comes up it has given me only one option and sometimes there is no space to leave anything. I think it is the combination of traffic on this site and our super bad cool security system! I wish I would have read this several years ago. LOL You are correct...I used HWT with my oldest child and to this day the handwriting is ...well...lets say......I have no words. 'I' would go with something else. Unless you really like their way.:)

I know that there is a 'base' you can make for cream soups. Something like butter, flour, milk and veg/chick broth. Mushroom Soup: 8oz Mushrooms -chopped, diced or sliced 1/4 C Onions -chopped 1 Clove garlic -minced 2 T Butter 2 C Vegetable or Chicken broth 3 T Flour 1/4 t Nutmeg 1 C evaporated milk or light cream Saute -butter, onions, mushrooms, garlic. Add in 2 T flour and broth, stir and heat until thickened. Add in additional flour, cream. Add all together. Salt/pepper to taste. I like homemade soups...mmmmm.....my fav is homemade tomato. :)
