  1. Sorry...I've lived in Europe and traveled a great deal...I always tip for good service. Yes, they make a living wage, but when I receive great service I like to let them know I appreciate it..in Europe or US..doesn't matter. :)
  2. Praying for safety for your husband and peace for you.
  3. You probably are starving your body. It's holding on to everything. I did this until I joined weight watchers and learned to eat properly. A 1000 cals a day for your weight is way under...rethink your approach. I did WW online and learned alot. Maybe sparkplace would give you some good information. I'm in Europe and struggling to find information in English. I know this is no help...but truly you sound as if your eating to little. Hang in there and don't give up hope. :)
  4. I enjoy reading, writing, hiking around our home...I have a 5 mile path. When the weather is bad, I hop on the treadmill. Also, just sitting outside and enjoying the peace and beauty around me is wonderful.
  5. Joy of all joy...I get this job this weekend. We have another military move coming and I have an attic, basement and 2 garage areas to sort. I'm working on the weekends so I don't have to do it on Easter break. :D Good luck with your decluttering!:D
  6. My hubby has a beautiful korean chest for keys and a copper bowl for change and pens. Everything else goes to the closet or put away in our bedroom.
  7. I say definitely start homeschooling right away. He will greatly benefit. :)
  8. When Ron II was learning to read we started with 100 easy lessons and then went to A Beka phonics..which was awesome. :D

  14. My girls are 18 and 20 and never wanted to be left when we went on vacation. We have to much fun. All the kids did stay home in January while hubby and I took along weekend away in the mountains.

  16. Honestly...I feel like I've been on vacation for 3 years. Living in Europe has given us some wonderful weekend opportunities. You don't have to drive far before you find something you haven't discovered here. We do lots of town walking, hiking the vineyards, check of the churches. Two summers ago my parents treated our family to a cruise. We did Spain, Italy, France...it was awesome. We have been so lucky to have seen so much of the world..lived in Korea for 2 years. Driven across the US about 10 times. The military sure affords you some unique opportunitites. :D
