I will be homeschooling my second and third ninth graders this year. My son will actually be attending a one day a week classical cottage school, while my daughter has opted to be at home taking only one outside class. I will still have my first grader, preschooler, and baby to take care of too. :)

They are saying the storms will be gone by launch time. I will say that people also started camping out a couple of days ago for spots. So that tells you how crazy it will be. The news said people may be stuck in traffic for 6-7 hours.

I had planned on driving to NSB to see the launch today, but after I heard the crowd totals (around 750,000, plus the President and his family is attending), I am staying home. I can see it from my house which is 60 minutes away.

Has anyone heard from DIY- Dy? She lives outside of Huntsville?

Has anyone ever had trouble with receiving a refund from the Potter's School for dropped classes? I ask this because we dropped our foreign language class in May and was told we would receive our refund in June and still no refund. We cannot contact them by phone, since they do not accept phone messages and they have not returned our emails. I emailed them again last Thursday and have yet to hear from them. Does anyone have suggestions?

Tell me about it! The a/c in both of our cars went and is still out, we found out we had termites in our 3 year old house, and our dishwasher (also 3 years old) died Saturday. Oh and my dh found out he is getting another 10% pay cut.

I will continue to pray. Anything is possible with prayer.

Well, I keep ours on our school table. I made a supply center out of a lazy susan and pails that I bought out in the $1 section at Target. I change the pails out for each season, just to keep things decorative. For example, the pails that are out now are red, white, and blue with decorative stars for the summer. I then label the pails: pencils, markers, scissors, pens, crayons, and glue. Everything is in one place for them to grab. I keep the extra stock in a drawer in my desk. :001_smile:

Target. I have found that the Fieldcrest Luxury towels hold up the best. I believe the are a Consumer Reports Best Buy as well. I purchased some towels from JCP this year and do not like them at all. They are very cheaply made now.

All I could say was OMG. It was really unbelievable. ACtually, I think I am still processing all that occurred. My dh loved that the smoke was back. He loves the sci fi part of the show. Next week should be interesting.
