  1. Yes it was expected lady pain. What are strong curves?
  2. I'm going to exercise in the gym tomorrow. I have been unwell all week but I feel better today so lets see how I feel tomorrow.
  3. Count me in too! We need to sell our flat by the summer so I'll start by purging things tomorrow morning. I have lived in this flat ever since December 2014. But since my son is a full time wheelchair user I need to buy another property that is wheelchair accessible. Neither of them are babies anymore, it is kind of sad. I have six or seven cardboard boxes for our possessions and a shredder for confidential documents like paperwork etc. I have to begin somewhere, right?
  4. I make the world a better place by spreading awareness of homeschooling. I also work at a local charity shop twice a week. Oh and I try to participate in my church's fundraising events as well whenever possible.
  5. I can't believe it is Thursday already.. Today's list of tasks Check security footage (unsure if I want to or not) Buy some new makeup (must do) Make a tentative plan for next school year (in progress) Have a good day everyone!
  6. They have now also cordoned off part of the road. Seems there was a burglary and they have to look at footage of the suspect as well. This is the second time it has happened since we have moved in. It might be time for a meeting to discuss safety measures..
  7. What are your options? I recommend talking to other moms and dads. I personally love the idea but your kids may not. I think you should try to find out more first before making a decision either way on committing yourself.
  8. My plans for today Finish the book I started reading last week. Enroll on a typing course with the kids Start garden planning Find out why there is a police car.. this is odd
  9. I need houseplant suggestions! Does anyone grow strawberries? I want to try growing them this year again, we bought the seeds back in December and will plant them next month.
  10. Today I will do the following Library Gym And a planned visit to Homebase to buy some new paints.
  11. Save most of it for the car Put a tiny amount aside for a fun day out as well!
  12. Can I ask you a question? What do you do for PE? Where do you find a children's bible study class?
  13. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to alter some of my original homeschooling plans. Instead of abandoning science altogether, I might try out a Christian science curriculum like Apologia with the twins and see what happens. And I have now found a Bible Study Class as well which is good. I also had to modify other plans too to squeeze everything into my schedule but that is okay with me personally. Instead of gardening this week, we might do more cookery lessons instead.
  14. For this week Organise a fortune telling party Clean up after Storm Dennis (my back yard looks like trash seriously!) Make a chocolate cake Read up on escape rooms and pick one for the summer Finish placement tests for both the little ones too Sleep at some point
  15. I highly recommend this website- https://www.mymusictheory.com/. Just be aware this is a UK website however. And you will have to make a account in order to access all the resources. But totally worth it.
  16. Is she a dedicated student? If so this is totally doable. Does she like STEM subjects or not? If so, I recommend gently exploring realistic options with her. What are her interests and hobbies?
  17. Quiz shows? What about Game of Thrones? Have you watched Suits or not? I love this is us too.
  18. My local gym is great! It is one big room full of equipment. There are some weights, a treadmill for cardio lovers, a stair machine, some hula hoops, bikes, mats and other machines. Plus there are televisions on one wall and lockers for any belongings. What do I love about it? The gym also has personal trainers too on hand to answer questions and assist if the need arises. The gym does run classes as well. There are also dumbbells to use. Overall I think it is a nice gym and always leave feeling slightly tired and happy post workout. I've been a member for more than two years now and I love it so far. I see results already which is good. Additionally, there is a creche so I leave the kids there for a hour and exercise. I have not done any but there are pool based exercise classes available in addition. Make sure to request a induction prior to using the equipment. I had one when I first joined, it is a good idea seriously. A fitness trainer should do one with you. I can even book classes online if I want to but I never really find the time to do so however. Side note, I found exercising according to my body type also beneficial. You can find more information about this online. For example if you are a ectomorph, limit cardio.
  19. This is my todo list for half term Find a new childcare provider (ongoing) Exercise- lacking motivation right now due to storm Dennis Organise the baby's room- started Hold a bible study class at home complete with prayers- pushed back until afternoon Pray for good weather- unlikely but a girl can always pray.. Happy half term everyone!
  20. We are off to a party in a bit. In the midst of lesson planning for next school year. Can anyone recommend a children's Bible curriculum or not? I am at a loss for ideas. We had a funny amusing talk about moving to the Caribbean earlier, as storm Dennis has struck on the heels of Storm Ciara over here.. but it would not be possible. I would have to enter a quiz show or enter a competition organised by a radio station where you win a lot of money without much effort.
  21. This is fun! I love getting ideas of other options to try. Can anyone recommend a Bible study group or curriculum? Math- Right Start A for the little ones plus workbooks and websites as appropriate. English- Suppose the Wolf K-2 for the twins. We will work on all skills including reading and writing. History- SOTW Geography- BF around the world series Music- piano lessons Art- Teaching Art to Children, advice needed though.. Misc- first aid for eldest, teamwork, cookery, life skills, money skills etc
