Good Morning, Not sleeping well my asthma/allergies is acting up and my DD4 didn't sleep well either her allergies. Not sure about today

Gardenmom5, no not trying to make anyone feel old. My 4 yr old makes this almost 50 Mom feel old. My friends raised their kids and some are Grandparents now. Boogles my mind sometimes Time just flies by

Cleared off the dinner table and we sat down together for breakfast. DD4 has her own little table and chair in the living room. She plays and eats there sometimes. Play doh, clay and kinetic sand has been banned due to carpet and no paint allowed for same reason. Dining table is on tile.

Two of my sister's fainted as a teen. Just only once a piece. It had to do with there periods and really heavy flow. We were told. The first one was checked out by EMT the other school nurse. It's best to get her checked out.

Near 90 yesterday. In the high 60s today with rain on and off. JanOh- same for us minus the pool

I would have made it a poll but I don't know how. I would love to eat at the table and eat the same meal. Most of the time it's in the living room and DD4 is eating something else. Our dining room table is covered with her arts and crafts. Every once in awhile we clean off the table and eat there. I want it to be every meal at the table though. I guess, I will have to make it happen or it never will.

How does dinner work at your house? Do all sit at the table and eat the same thing? Sit at the table and eat different meals Or...something else

The only thing I have to say on the matter is those football players are paid to do their job which is football. It's their workplace. How many in the working class can say/do whatever they wish during their work hours? Just a thought.

That was a ruff weekend. DH started working 12 hour days and if we wanted the car we had to drive him there. Strange enough we usually wake up to get things ready for work, at same time but getting him at dark is just exhausting. Really long days for all of us. He is off for a couple of days. On schedule for today. Sleeping in, for all of us. Uh, I don't know. I need to go back to bed. Good Night.

Alphablocks on YouTube. Season 1 episode 1 is letter sounds. After that is when the letters hold hands they sound out the words. It's really fun my dd4 loves it. Each episode is about 5 minutes long.

Sorry Critter, I hope it improves. Finished up the audio book Charlotte's Web at home while she did crafts. She counted up to 70 when I told her just a minute. She knows 60 seconds is in a minute so she told me so. Smartypants! Bible video while Mommy got ready for church. Audio book on car ride today. Barring any health issue, he's just skinny. He may fill out with age or not. My DH family keeps commenting on our DD4 being skinny. The kids on his side were/are always chunky. My family the kids are/were always skinny. I had one family member told she would gain weight after she had babies. Nope, she had several and has remind the same size her entire adult life.

When I was growing up our high school had a class called work experience. You got class credit for it. They would let you leave early for it.

HI Queencat, I guess it depends on where you live. Both mine and my husband family have their teens working at fast food, restaurants, lifeguarding and shoe stores. One female cousin was working 2 jobs during her senior year plus she was babysitting. That was this past school year. Ymmv
