lauraw4321
Her boyfriend announced that she took her own life. I was really active in following and writing blogs for many years, and Heather Armstrong's was definitely one of them. She was a gifted writer. She could be very controversial and it was clear that there were mental health struggles, but I'm shocked. Her daughters were young - both teens, I believe. Heartbreaking.

KSera
I don't know who this is, but I'm so very sorry to hear. For her and for her family and others who loved her. So, so hard for everyone involved.
azucena
I did read her off and on over the years, and I understood from her postings in recent years that she had struggled with depression and addiction. It's a very sad story and my heart goes out to her children and family.

Katy
No, I’m not familiar, but I’m sorry for your loss, and her family’s. Even if you don’t know someone personally they can really affect our lives.
Emba
I did read her blog, years ago. I missed out on the more recent struggles. I’m sorry to hear about them, and that she’s gone.
strawberries
I used to read her blog regularly when we were both new moms. Her older daughter is the same age as my son. I'm so sad to hear this.
Mrs Tiggywinkle Again
The mommy bloggers got me through the early years of parenthood, where I had two under two and one that was showing signs of(at that point) significant special needs. Her book It Sucked and Then I Cried came out a year before my oldest was born, and I read it about a thousand times between 2010-2013.
Erica in OR
Oh, no. I had read her blog regularly, as well as her most recent book. She had also shared over the last year or two that she struggled with alcoholism. Erica in OR
Jhwk21
Oh no! This is so sad. I read her blog a long time ago and was just randomly thinking about her the other day, wondering what she's up to. How terrible.
Lady Florida.
I hadn't thought of her in years and though I remember her blog being controversial I don't remember why. I admit I couldn't relate to her life so her blog didn't resonate with me. I just spent some time reading about her death and recent struggles. It's so incredibly sad. Farrar
I read her back in the day. I wasn't a huge fan, but I remember liking some of her content. She was definitely a trailblazer in lots of ways. It's so tragic.
