marbel
We just celebrated our 27th by going to a concert. It had been years since we had been to one. So that was our gift to each other. The overpriced and just-ok venue food for dinner was an added bonus, sort of. (Better than eating at home beforehand or packing food to eat at the car.) What does he like, generally? When I can't think of something for my husband, I get books. He will likely not read all the books we have, but we both like books. Mine would also appreciate a bottle of good scotch but of course YMMV on alcohol. (And, I don't know good scotch from bad so it can't be a surprise.) Spryte
We mostly give experiences. So plans, surprise trips, tickets, that type of thing. Doesn’t have to be expensive — one year I gave a small backpack with 12 black envelopes, a month written on each in silver pen. Each month he opened an envelope and found out what we would be doing. We live in the land of free exhibits and museums, so not expensive most months, but there were some good tickets thrown in, too.
Catwoman
Something different. If you usually get him a regular gift, maybe go with an experience this time... or vice versa. Also, he might be happiest getting a gift of you in some unexpected lingerie. 😉
QueenCat
You could add a hotel room to your evening out. That's a nice gift for a couple to share together.
Beth S
Edible Treats. Or something Thor-themed, if he's a fan. Edited July 19, 2022 by Beth S

How about you think of 32 reasons you love him and have it printed and framed? We did that for DH's 50th birthday and he loved it.
