TravelingChris
+Good morning- started out well since i got my newspaper bill payed (I have it on automatic payments but in late April I had the whole having to change debit card because of fraud stuff). Not only did i get that bill squared away, the very nice man helped me figure out how to actually log onto my daily small paper, my paper's main news site, how to see my edition of the regular paper online, and how to change my account settings so I could put in new debit card info------I need all this help because my vision hasn't been very good and my RA fingers are bad too. Have had part of breakfast- need to do second part, maybe tried to get into zoom Bible Study but they didn\t seem, to be doing it tried out 2 more pieces of clothing I received and one was mislabeled size wise and the other was a pair of pants that had weirdly tighter calves and was for a person who probably would be 5ft 10 versus average height. readinmom
Good morning! Another scorching day today... I went to start turkey legs in crockpot for dd's soup, discovered that was the awful smell in the fridge. They are not even near end sale date, and wow! Bagged them up and put in deep freezer until trash day. 🤮 Done: coffee, weights, kitchen clean up, floors To do with the help of more coffee: pick up Rxs for mom Costco run Target run lunch out, bring back something soft and squishy for dd (wisdom teeth taken out) grade assignments, send notification to students (this will be last week of summer school) something light for dinner laundry read and relax Have a blessed day! 2
TheReader
Sorry about the spoiled turkey legs, @readinmom! Light day today: ...coffee ...clean away the clutter that's accumulated on the dining table ...go to the store, get sugar, so dh can make pies whenever he feels up to it ...sew some? ...tonight (if DH is recovered; he went to bed early still feeling sick, and is napping now for 3 hours & counting....) we have an Escape Room outing with work friends & dinner out ....supervise dog care throughout the day ....help DH clean/put away the fishing stuff from yesterday, as needed ...whatever other puttering around stuff gets done

SKL
Howdie, happy Sunday! This morning I got a bit more cardio than I intended as my [leashed] pup decided he needed to chase a cat while we were walking down a hill. I was wearing my kid's boots which are 4 sizes too big for me, and the hill is littered randomly with fallen branches, rocks, etc. I managed to stay upright, but I had to run very awkwardly to manage that. As I realized later, the muscles in the front of my thighs got strained, to where the action of pressing my brakes was painful, and I had an hour of driving to do. I figured out a way to stretch those muscles. The things you figure out when you have to. 😛 Pup is a 70lb German shepherd. Someone once told me they can pull a house. Well, I don't know about that, but I'm no match for him, that's for sure. 😛 I do use a prong collar, which normally prevents this sort of nonsense, but you need a solid two-footed stance when he's trying to dart off. It also helps to have some advance notice ... I didn't notice the cat until after he went for it. Guess I could have let go of the leash and trusted that the risks were low (he respects the electric fence boundaries), but I didn't think of that in the moment. So, after some stretching, I drove Kid1 to work. Sat in the parking lot and did wordle (2), nerdle (4), and quordle (7), checked the news and social media. Stole, scanned, cropped, and posted some photos from my kids' party last night. Ate fruit, took vitamins, did a little reading. I should be working now. Or doing yoga. Or something productive. I think I need more coffee.
SKL
Had a nice shower/hair wash. I honestly don't know the last time I washed my hair. Somewhere around a week ago. It's that time of year. Also cleaned the bathroom. Now it's time I got focused on my work. Somehow. Edited June 26, 2022 by SKL

SKL
Oh yeah, I should do my "to-do" list. To do: Lots of client work!!! Catch up the laundry. Pay bills. Fill out health forms. Update calendar. Yoga etc. Eat veggie(s). Pick up Kid1 from work. Sign up for Frog Watch again ... we picked a site from the wrong area last time. Help Kid1 figure out her food diary app for the gastro doc. Catch up on various minor personal items and file. Some more cleaning. Night pup duty. Plan for the upcoming week. Set alarms for tomorrow. Whatever else gets done.

ScoutTN
Peach pie, yummm!! Watched Obi Wan, then started at the beginning of All Creatures Great and Small with Dd. Three episodes tonight; so fun! Had to be the mean mom and tell Dd she’s getting work done on her project instead of going to a mid-day social event (that we would have to get her to and from). She has three other fun things this week, and she works at her job one day. I hope this kid will be able to manage her time in college, just a year away!
