In mid-April I posted in this forum about not receiving email notifications for the threads I follow.  I posted in the Site News and Discussion group, but that post is still pending approval.  Last week, I finally sent a message through the WTM FB page and received a response.  They told me someone else was having the same problem.  I know more than 2 of us are having this problem.

They are working on it but, if you are having the same problem as me, maybe it would help to let them know you are also having trouble.  If you follow their FB page, that is where I got a response from them.

Back on April 14th, someone on here had mentioned to post in the Site News and Discussion forum, but no one ever approved my post and it is just sitting there pending.  

Last week, I finally just messaged them through the FB page and the help desk responded.  They said, "Our forum service provider told me that they had an issue with the email forwarding last week, but that they believe that they have fixed the problem. Let me know if it continues into next week, OK? --Helpdesk."

I let them know again today, through FB messenging, that I was still having this problem and that it has been on-going since at least March.  I have not heard back yet.

My thought is if they are aware that it is happening to more people, it might make a difference in getting it fixed more timely.  I didn't realize how much I depend on that function until I didn't have it anymore.

Thanks so much for the thread.  I just checked my trash and have not received email notifications since April 1st (April Fool's Day joke gone bad?).  I submitted a question through the website and have gotten 2 responses.  Last one on 5/21 saying it was a known issue and they thought they had it resolved.  Not for me.  I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

After I saw this, I followed a new to me/busy thread on the Chat board and I haven't received any email notifications yet.  I know there have been responses to that thread.  I even signed out and back in.  He said to let them know tomorrow if we still aren't getting them.

I'll monitor this thread so that if things are not back to normal on Thursday, everyone doesn't have to send in a separate technical support request.  

If you still are not getting notification emails on Thursday, add that information to this thread

It is sometimes helpful if we know what platform and search engine you are using (eg. Windows/Chrome, Mac/Safari) so include that info if you can

If we need to ask specific questions, I will let you know.  It might help to have screenshots and so on.  I sincerely hope this is working by Thursday morning but if it isn't, we will keep working with the forum provider until we get it squared away.

No luck on receiving email notifications today so far.  And...I followed a thread that is very busy right now to see if it would work.

Updated to add:  I'm using a PC with Chrome and Yahoo mail

Hello, All--

I just checked in with our tech people and learned that this might take a couple of days.  We are working on improvement to the website, but as is true with almost everything else in life, when you fix one thing, something you don't expect changes and then you have to go fix THAT...so bear with us.  We are working on it, and having the information about your device/search engine on this thread might be of help to the people working on solving the problem.

I'm still not getting emails and use Windows 10 operating system and Google Chrome browser and gmail for email.  Thank you.

We believe that this issue has been resolved.  You should be receiving email notifications as you did in days of yore.  If not, quote this post and let me know in this thread, and I'll get the word back to our website tech specialist.  I have quoted the people in this thread as a means of making sure you got some sort of notice about this update.

I haven't received any for a long time either...  I did post a note on the Site News back in April but no response.  I just signed up to follow this thread though, so I should be able to tell, soon, if it's working now!
