We're under a winter storm warning, with another 9" or so of snow expected. Dh will be in last minute before time to take him, and I have other stuff I'd like to do tonight. We'll see. Other than that, a regular sort of day. Of course, later today is college alumni interview for Ds, quite a ways away, along an interstate. Ice will probably be gone by then, thank goodness. Interview is near a Costco, so I will not be able to put off my Costco trip any longer. Dinner will be Costco inspired. Yesterday I went up to my attic. It's the kind of attic with pull down stairs, ugh, so strange and unfamiliar up there. I found an *entire* box of baby blankets. I can no longer imagine on what planet I was when I thought these might be useful someday. So, added blankets to growing donations pile. Update: Mom did fine in surgery. :) I'm walking over to the burger place for lunch. Cafeteria looks unappetizing. Plus I need some exercise and fresh air. Home now. Tidying up, folding laundry. Need more coffee. Lots of work to do! Need to leave at 2:40 to pick up kids. Kids to library for book club; work at library. Drop off friend. Figure out homework, test study, and scout prep within 1.25 hours. Grab quick dinner. Scouts. More test study / homework. Kids to bed. Everyone is fine, I hit my horn and screamed to a stop, but the tail end of the trailer hit my driver’s side tire and panel over it. Long wait for the tow, dh just went out to meet the driver. Plus side, I was not at fault. State patrol could not have been more pleasant and the damage is not too bad.
