Four kids, two parents-the candy wouldn't have lasted more than a few days. As it is, my youngest two are sneaking off to eat stolen pieces even though I was certain I'd locked all the candy away. My rationalization is "I need sustenance and rewards to write another sentence in dd's counselor letter." I've gone from icky zero-draft, to about 80% there, to "I'm totally stuck and I want to eat the whole bowl!" Or maybe it is I am sad about her leaving me and am drowning my sorrows.
