El...
Seriously, I'm not spending that on any lotion. I want to find a non-MLM option. So yesterday I took a karate test (brown belt and passed! Woot!). I'm 38, and my joints hurt a lot. I tried a sample of DT Deep Blue lotion and it really seemed to help my knees and ankles this morning. It smells like eucalyptus, and says camphor on the label. My mom used to buy something from a health food store, I think called "Teifu," which smelled the same. What do you guys think I should try? maize
I buy camphor oil from Amazon--it's maybe $6 per bottle? I just mix it with petroleum jelly but you could mix it in any oil or a generic lotion.
lanabug
Biofreeze? It's carried in my local non-chain pharmacy here. My MIL has fibromyalgia and says it helps her pain. Lana

zoobie
There are a few "recipes" for homemade versions online. I've used a few of this woman's, and they've worked: http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2012/09/make-your-own-homemade-pain-relieving-cream.html
Lizzie in Ma
I love, absolutely love Biofreeze and Penetrex. Penetrex is an odorless arnica cream that is fantastic. Biofreeze is more along the lines of the Deep Blue Edited February 20, 2017 by Lizzie in Ma

Real Time Pain relief is amazing stuff- on the pricey side but a little goes a long way. Available thru their website Amazon on local distributors like a chiropractor. MyDh discovered when he was working construction with lots of very sore spots and someone recommended it to him. Guest
Arnica oil works for me. I get it at Marshalls. Also, this stuff called Badger Balm. They sell it at Cracker Barrel but can be gotten on Amazon too.

umsami
As a massage therapist, we used BioFreeze all the time. This was over twenty years ago, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was still recommended by the PT I go to. You can definitely find make your own versions online.
