mom31257
There is a recall on hummus from Sabra. Sadly, I have to throw 3 packages away. I bought it on a really good sale, so I stocked up. I had eaten out of one of them with no side effects, so I'm thankful for that! http://sabra.com/recall.html Edited November 21, 2016 by mom31257
Code Lyoko
Gah!!!! I just bought and ate some this weekend and this morning. Mine is definitely on the list of possibly affected products. I am so sad. I haven't had humus in months. It tasted so good. I know they say they haven't found any issues with the finished product but since they are asking that all potentially affected products be thrown away I guess I will. Thanks for posting... Annie Elle
We love this hummus and just finished a container of it. No ill effects though

Selkie
Sabra had a recall because of listeria in 2015, too. I stopped buying it after that and have made my own hummus ever since.
mommyoffive
We were just eating this for lunch.
Cinder
Thanks for the heads up! Dh just finished off some Sabra hummus a couple days ago so no idea if it was in the recalled batches, but I'm guessing it probably was. So far no ill effects, though. hellen
Costco called me as I was eating the hummus. I felt kind of bad taking it back for the refund because we ate almost all of it.

How awesome of Costco to call you. Wow. I wish I had bought if from there.
AK_Mom4
Our local grocery store called us too. I had actually already tossed the container, which was a big bummer, but apparently I can just go in with my rewards card and they will look it up and give me a new non-recalled tub of hummus or a refund. ashfern
In the future, don't toss recalled food. You can return it to the store for a refund. I have some here that I'm going to take back tomorrow.
cintinative
If you submit your info via this link they will send you a coupon for replacement product. http://www.sabrahummusrecall.com/ If it doesn't take you right there, scroll down to the bottom where it says "product reimbursement form"
cintinative
FYI. This is a super easy way to make chickpeas. I buy them dried cheap at the Indian market. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/slow-cooker-chickpeas-recipe.html
