Garga Posted September 24, 2016 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I use a small purse from Walmart with a long enough strap that I can wear it cross-body. I've tried backpack purses and found it to be a royal pain to slip out of one of the straps every time I needed something from the purse. Turns out I need things from my purse All The Time. The pocket placement is great, it's comfortable and just the right size. I have rounded shoulders and don't do great with cross body or slings, although I prefer them. I got the Kavu bag and it stays put! I can slide it around to my side, unzip it to get my wallet, and then slide it back around when I'm done. This is the only sling bag I own so I can't answer for other ones but I don't have any problem with it slipping off. Do you wear it crossbody? OP, Kipling has some cute, lightweight backpack purses. If I have to go fairly far (like walking at Disney World or around town for a while) I wear it cross body. Otherwise, I just wear it on one shoulder (like going just a little ways from my car to my office, etc...) You are NOT too old! But they do have options, the cross body bag has the same types of ropes, and I have thought of getting one of those too.
