Sarah CB
Dd's boyfriend just graduated with a BSc Honours in Biology. They have been together 2.5 years. I have absolutely no idea what to get him. Or what price range is appropriate.
catz
I'd give him $50-$100. Or I think just giving him a card is fine too. Or taking him and your dd out for a nice dinner to celebrate. I got almost nothing for my college graduation.
TammyS
Dd's boyfriend just graduated with a BSc Honours in Biology. They have been together 2.5 years. I have absolutely no idea what to get him. Or what price range is appropriate. I probably wouldn't get him anything, or maybe just a "congratulations" card. It's not like he's *my* boyfriend.

Kassia
We give $50 for close friends and girlfriends. We do the same. Two of my sons have girlfriends graduating this month and we are giving each of them $50. Erica
Bambam
We got a Contigo autoseal mug for a male friend who is graduating. We will add a gift card probably to a local coffee shop. He likes coffee and he will have a longish commute, so we thought it was a good idea.
SparklyUnicorn
I probably wouldn't get him anything, or maybe just a "congratulations" card. It's not like he's *my* boyfriend. I doubt this is uncommon though. The mother of my boyfriend at the time I graduated from college gave me a gift. And my boyfriend on top of that gave me a gift too. And the irony is that he bought me luggage that I ended up using to visit a new boyfriend in Germany that I eventually married. mum
Ds and his girlfriend are graduating college. We're getting her something on her need list for apartment at grad school. Will be in the $30-$50 region. I think this is a serious and lasting relationship, so I want to err on the side of generosity (it's the same amount I'm spending on our own ds)
Katy
I'm not sure I'd get my kid's romantic other a gift, but if I did I'm sure almost any kid would prefer cash to a present.
TechWife
A copy of The Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbook: How to Escape from Quicksand, Wrestle an Alligator, Break Down a Door, Land a Plane... Put a check inside it and call it good! New graduates really need cash - apartment deposits, utility deposits, work related clothing, etc. are often immediate needs.
