PeachyDoodle
Please, please, stop the madness!! It has been raining here for EONS! I don't remember what the sun even looks like! We are all depressed, sick of being stuck in the house, and all anybody wants to do is complain or eat. Including me. I've gained five pounds in the past week! Calgon, take me away!!!!! :willy_nilly:
Pawz4me
I hear you!! I desperately need a long, brisk walk in dry, fresh air. I went to the mall Saturday and walked a bit, but it's just not the same.
hellen
What is this sun you speak of? We've had over 10 inches of rain since Halloween. I hope El Nino has begun because if they gets even wetter than this, it will be a long, miserable winter.

momofkhm
Son got his learners permit Oct 22. We were joking the other day that we were going to die because the road we were on was (1) dry, (2) flat and (3) straight. He had not yet driven in those conditions, all at the same time. And it's still raining. There was a graphic the local weather put on facebook. We have gotten 20 inches more rain than Seattle, WA this calendar year.
Anne in CA
Evidently there is no middle ground. We were still at high fire danger until a week ago. It snowed last night and our little mountain valley looks like an amazing winter wonderland. I think we MIGHT be out of fire danger. But I would take your rain right now.
73349
Hear, hear! This area has five above-freezing weather states: Might Rain. Raining Some. Raining a Ton. Still Raining. Drought.
DawnM
Honestly, I am enjoying the rain. I grew up with a lot of rain and prefer rainy climates. I have been really enjoying this. I sit out on the front porch with a cup of coffee and just watch. I am sleepier, I do admit that.
Night Elf
My DH told me we're in for a wet winter. I don't want it to rain all season. I have to drive on a busy highway today and tomorrow. I'm terrified it's still going to be raining. I hate driving on highways. I hate driving in the rain. Driving on a highway in the rain is the worst thing ever!
