I woke up on my own (instead of waking up and having to scurry around to get dh and ds off to work). I still didn't get the recommended minimum of 7 hours sleep but that's on my body and not anyone else this morning. I had a nice quiet breakfast and read on the Hive. I took Rocky for a 45 min. walk. Also done "How to Think like Sherlock" - hmm. Should I just call that study "Sherlock"? History is waiting for the afternoon. Dishwasher is running. Luckymama Posted September 8, 2015 Share Posted September 8, 2015 No school here :) We went to a bbq at dh's brother's place this afternoon, just family this time (he likes to have huge parties :eek:). I also did some gardening, took a layer of skin off my shin by walking into the corner of a bed, baked brownies for the bbq, and wrote the psych test for the first unit. Jean in Newcastle Posted September 8, 2015 Author Share Posted September 8, 2015 Paid most of the bills. Those remaining need some phone calls to be made tomorrow. Ds grilled carne asada for us. Dd did the veggies and I did sides of refried beans and rice. Yum! Kitchen has been cleaned a second time. Dh has been working on the wiring which means that there are wires sticking out all over the place. But he's done for the night and probably the week since he has to go back to work so now we're going to be stuck with living like this until the next time he has time to work on it.
