fairfarmhand
In planning my school year, I'd like to get in the habit of playing a quick round of a fun game before we start school each morning. I need to think of a few more games so we don't get tired of playing the same ones all the time. I have Uno Dutch Blitz Pick up Sticks Memory I have 3 kids who will be playing from 2nd grade to 8th grade. I can play sometimes too, and we don't ALL have to play every morning. Ideas? T'smom
I just got a couple of games at a used curriculum sale - you play like go fish, except that you are trying to collect all of a certain artists paintings. It might be called the Art Game.
OneStepAtATime
What about card games? We keep a deck in our vehicle, too.
Erica in OR
What about paper and pencil games? I have fond memories of playing them with my great-aunts on summer vacations. One I particularly remember was Dots and Boxes. Maybe Yahtzee or some other dice game? Erica in OR
Chris in VA
Blink is one of our favs. You can play with different ages, just change the amt of cards the youngers receive. 7 card Rummy is fun, too--we love card games here. How about Perfection? A different kind of game--so good for developing fine motor, and fun for everyone! Sometimes we take out the Taboo cards and just go thru a few of those without actually playing the game.

fairfarmhand
Thanks! I actually do like card games because they don't make a huge mess. I'll be looking up many of these.
