(I can't wait until I get this big house left over from a previous marriage undated and SOLD and I can think about settling in somewhere and getting something like that.) Yes, we bolted it to the wall in a few places and we attached all of the pieces together with brackets and braces as well, so everything lines up right and acts as one piece. It was really easy to do. And we didn't finish the wood; I think it has a very, very light, clear varnish on it, so we just left it as is. Thanks for all of the compliments! This is the first decent storage system I have ever purchased, and it is working so well for me that I wanted to share.
