Jeannie in NJ
I love storms. Our house is mostly windows so we had a great view of the lit up sky. It was an amazing light show but we lost power so that was a bummer. But for only a few hours so not too bad. Some of the cats hid during the storm and some stayed right next to us. Amira
We get one almost every night now that it's the rainy season. I LOVE it!
Lady Florida.
We get one almost every night now that it's the rainy season. I LOVE it! So do we. Sometimes day. Sometimes night. But regularly.
Pink and Green Mom
We moved to FL to what seems to be the lightning capital of the world. The dog does not appreciate it. He keeps looking for the basement like we had in the old house... I could watch lightning for hours.
Jeannie in NJ
poor doggie, no basement for him to hide in. My cats are not allowed in our basement but we have a sectional sofa that has a huge underneath hiding space big enough for all 8 cats to fit in. Carrie12345
I slept through it. The rest of the family told me all about it this morning, lol.
TammyinTN
We did.. I went to where they thought we had a tornado, but appears to be straight line winds. Lots of trees down and leaves and branches. Lots of lightning and wind last night.
Lady Florida.
We moved to FL to what seems to be the lightning capital of the world. I'm not sure about the world, but it's the lightning capital of the U.S. http://www.ocala.com/article/20140618/ARTICLES/140619732/-1/sports06 The dog does not appreciate it. He keeps looking for the basement like we had in the old house... I could watch lightning for hours. Our dog barks at every clap of thunder. Anyone who lives in Florida will understand how annoying that is. We've seriously considered a thunder shirt but I can't bring myself to believe they work. I love watching lightning from the safety of indoors. It's powerful and dangerous but oh so beautiful!
school17777
We apparently had it, but I was so tired that I slept through it.
shanvan
Yep! We are all tired today.
Word Nerd
Not last night, but we had quite a light show last Saturday night—we lost power with the storm, too. I'm not such a fan when that happens!
Occasionally
We did here :seeya: It was a lot of lightning (for PA,) but I seem to be the only one who woke up. Thankfully, the power was only out for a couple of minutes.
