Luanne
... on the days following chemo when I don't feel like doing anything ... that I am going to take out my daughter's Legos, Barbies, and cars and play with them. I have been coloring some too, but need to get some new crayons. I don't have much energy, but tend to get bored very easily.
MeghanL
Have you seen Zentangles? That might keep you doubly busy as you can draw cool patterns and then color them! http://www.zentangle.com/

aggieamy
If you have an iPad you could make some stop motion animation videos. It's fun, takes your mind off things, and is low energy.
antsam
I was bad.. I watched whole seasons of TV shows while the boys were at school!! It's ok to lay around and not waste your strength while the chemo is doing its job! Jodie

Tammyla
:grouphug: Sounds good to me, and I've always loved a new box of crayons.
MolleenCarie
Don't just get a 24 pack of crayons, get the big one with the sharpener in the back.
Belacqua
I read lots and lots of murder mysteries...and watched food network for hours and hours.... For me, it was Little House on the Prairie. To this day, the theme song makes me queasy. Another vote for the big crayon box. And maybe the one with the glittery colors, as well. Slartibartfast
I have some cool dover coloring books of stain glass windows, tiffany glass, mandalas, and celtic knots. I don't let the kids have those.

Slartibartfast
Maybe try that Polymer clay? My sister uses that and makes all sorts of things. http://www.pinterest.com/artsykate/polymer-clay-project-ideas/ Felting would also be a nice project. It is mostly stabbing. Dd finds the stabbing therapeutic.

Luanne
I'm so glad you posted today, Luanne, because I was thinking about you this morning and was going to start a "Where's Luanne" thread later tonight. How are you feeling, other than tired? I'm pretty wiped out. I had chemo on Thursday. Usually I bounce back after a few days, but the last chemo I received ... well, it never happened. I felt like garbage the entire two weeks. At least when I get chemo next time, it will be a different med and isn't supposed to be as harsh as this kind was. If I sound disconnected, I apologize. Penguin
I have been thinking of you, Luanne. Chemo is tough. I frequently watched really long, classic movies.
