SquirrellyMama
I went to a funeral today, and the guy next to me hit on me. I might have been flattered, but he was a creepy old guy. I saw him last night at the visitation and he kept saying, "Life is short and getting shorter." Maybe he decided to act on that thought. plain jane
Grief does some very strange things to people. :(. I am sure it was a very uncomfortable situation for you. I'm sorry for your loss. ((Hugs))
Desert Strawberry
I guess he's feeling his mortality. I agree. Inappropriate and uncomfortable.
SquirrellyMama
It was really uncomfortable. He chose to do it in the church right before the service started, and he wasn't very quiet about it. Maybe he was feeling his own mortality. That makes him much less creepy. Kelly
Happy
Oh my...it sounds like a scene in a very tasteless movie.
Tammyla
Nope, he is still way creepy and horribly inappropriate; he could have at least waited until after the service. I'm sorry that must have been an additional burden on top of your grief. It was really uncomfortable. He chose to do it in the church right before the service started, and he wasn't very quiet about it. Maybe he was feeling his own mortality. That makes him much less creepy.
