Night Elf
:grouphug: I would find that hard too. I'd insist they at least skype with me for a few minutes each week. Well, insist is such a strong word. But that is what I would try to do. I told dd that when she goes away to college, she has to text me at least once a day even if to say 'hi, I'm alive, having a good time'. :)

QueenCat
I understand completely.......... or will when we do it in about a year. I know we'll be leaving one behind but I also know the move is best for our family's future.
indigomama
I'm not at that stage yet, but I too would find it incredibly hard. :grouphug:
GSOchristie
:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: It makes me sad to think about that, too. We don't live in the same city with my parents and my brother live in CO, all the way across the country. I think it makes my mom sad to only see my brother and his family twice a year :(. PrincessMommy
It is incredibly hard. I feel for you.. :grouphug: I know I've said this many times before but it's so much harder being the parent of adult (or nearly adult) kids. I'd take the sleepless nights and a messy house filled with toys and stinky diapers anyday.
speedmom4
Now that I have a child in college I can imagine how hard that would be. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: Elise in NC
