Desert Strawberry
I'm sure this has been discussed a million times, but my searches aren't turning up anything. Are there any free lists like AO that are better, more modern-but still include classics? Please include links. TIA.
Wabi Sabi
This doesn't help much, but one thing I do is look at popular curricula and see what lists they've put together for each grade. I frequently refer to the booklists for Moving Beyond the Page and Oak Meadow just for this purpose. I just have to piece it all together from various sources; haven't yet found a source that lists everything all together on one page. MeghanL
I've offered before on this forum, but I created a reading list that combines TWTM, Veritas Press, Honey For a Child's Heart, Books to Build On and others. I'm happy to share if you PM me your email address.
Chelli
I have reading lists in my signature that is basically the lists from The Read Aloud Handbook put into grade levels. I draw our reading lists from it too since my dd's reading has caught up to her read aloud age.

Hunter
Those are pretty awesome! I wonder why there isn't one for first grade ancients? I think these were written for HERSELF and not designed to be published, and put up after people asked to see them as is.
