Tiramisu
I would check the ingredients of the sausage. Look for additives/preservatives. It couldn't hurt to drink some water.

fairfarmhand
no. drinking a root beer in case it is blood sugar related.
Parrothead
A couple benedryl won't hurt if you suspect an allergy to the food.

This is a good idea, I had a similar reaction after eating soy nuts once.

fairfarmhand
A couple benedryl won't hurt if you suspect an allergy to the food. I doubt it is allergy. These are farm raised foods that I eat every day. No preservatives.
fairfarmhand
Do you have thyroid problems? no. just tested for them 2 weeks ago. I think it is blood sugar related to PMS. I am feeling better since I drank the root beer.
Stayseeliz
Haev you ever had your blood sugar tested? That sounds like how I feel when my blood sugar dips. I'm hypoglycemic.
fairfarmhand
Haev you ever had your blood sugar tested? That sounds like how I feel when my blood sugar dips. I'm hypoglycemic. not unless I was pregnant. Generally, I have no trouble if I am careful to eat protein very few hours. That's what threw me this morning. I wonder if the PMS had anything to do with the weirdness. I was getting ready to run to the store. Glad it didn't hit me in the car. QueenCat
The flu has hit your area with full force. One of the big private schools in C is closed all week due to the flu.
Desert Rat
My guess is panic attack.
ILiveInFlipFlops
I was thinking blood sugar as well. Sometimes the protein-only breakfast just doesn't take me as far as I expect it to. Also, did you happen to have coffee with your breakfast? That can make an already wonky blood sugar go even crazier.
elegantlion
Watch for more illness. Dh had a sign like that the other day. He is hypoglycemic, which he initially thought it was. But now he is home from work for the second day with extreme lethargy, nausea and chills. I would make sure you get enough iron as well. Could it be anemia? fairfarmhand
thanks for the ideas folks. I am feeling much better now. I think it was blood sugar. The sugary drink helped. hopefully it's not the flu. that would totally stink since I'm supposed to have 30+ people at my house for a bonfire Saturday. Tiramisu
My wacky body sometimes has strange reactions to viruses. I might not come down with full blown normal viral symptoms, but I might feel really weird for a while. I also tend toward hypoglycemia. Maybe you're fighting a virus coming on, with PMS thrown in. :001_smile:
