Tap
These past couple of weeks ds and I are gettin A LOT of spam. He is at camp and I am managing his emails so I see the commonality more than I usually would. (I am checking them because he is applying late to a college and needs to communicate with them). We are both getting some of the same ones, but there are different ones too. I have had more spam in a week, than in the past year!
Momof3littles
Yes!!!!! I just noticed this and was wondering what I signed up for or whatever that started sending it my way. Perhaps it isn't originating from comcast, but yes, I'm suddenly getting a lot of bizarre spam.
luvnlattes
YES! I've been wondering what happened to their filters that's allowing it to get through.

Sun
Yes! Two or three every day now on my main account, and I never used to get any on that account. It started within the last week or two.
TheApprentice
Yes. It has me questioning what site(s) I've gotten on to trigger this.
yslek
Here, too. :glare: It's been going on for a few months, though more of the sort of stuff that used to go straight to junk seems to be making it to my inbox. Some of the spam I'm getting is from the name I only use on fb (first+maiden+last), so it looks like I'm sending e-mail to myself. Those always contain suspicious looking links. But then there's the spam product endorsement stuff as well. I keep blocking senders, but it keeps coming. Wonder what's up.
plansrme
Comcast sells your email address to sites you have visited, and possibly to spammers. They have probably stepped that up recently. As much as I despise AT&T, at least they are not Comcast. Now for how I know that: One example is that several years ago, I perused the website of a local monthly antique market to see the dates of the next market. I had never been before. Within 48 hours, I had my first-ever email from the market offering me a discount on admission. That is not the only example, but it is one of several similar. One Day At A Time
Yes! I noticed it in my husband's account first, but then it started showing up in mine too. Not always the same messages, but many times they are. Wish I could get rid of it all!
Cinder
Thanks for bringing this up--I thought it was just me. Same experience as others in that filtering was pretty good up until now. Before I'd get about one spam every 6 months or so but the last week or so I'm getting at least one per day. :glare:
