Whereneverever
With your fourth child, when did you start showing? I'm nine weeks pregnant and starting to show, and this seems really early to me. Am I alone?:001_huh:
AK_Mom4
With my fourth child, I started to show at 6 weeks. I'm not exagerating. I had worked really hard to get my tummy muscles back after kid #3 and a C-section. When I was about 6 weeks pregnant with #4, suddenly I couldn't zip my jeans thanks to the tummy bulge. And I had actually lost a couple of pounds thanks to morning sickness! I think my muscles just "remembered" being pregnant and gave up. wy_kid_wrangler04
I started to get a bump before I realized I was pregnant. I think the 4th is just all out there for the world to see. I remember I was so HUGE with him I literally could not touch the end of my stomach. I thought I was going to burst into 2. :001_huh:
Amber in AUS
With my first, who was over 9lb i was showing from 6 weeks, in maternity clothes from 12w. With my 4th i was still in my regular jeans at 17w. He was born at 25w but was big for gestational age. I was the same size before conceiving all 4 of my babies. Just goes to show they are all different :)
EmmaNZ
HA! Just wait until you get to number 5 - I look like I'm growing an elephant not a baby! ie. you're totally normal xxx
BMW
Yeah... from my 3rd baby on I started to show within a couple weeks of finding out that we were expecting. Sheesh!! And each time I actually had lost all weight gain and was the same weight each time that I found out I was expecting. I just kept saying, ""Well, my body knows it's pregnant and is saying, 'Hey! I know what to do! Bring on the baby belly!!'" And that's the way it went....
Joyofsixreboot
I would say generally the more kids the sooner you show. The muscles have more give I guess. It seems like #4 popped out at about 6 weeks.

We never told until the three month mark so I was wearing maternity clothes at home and cramming into regular stuff for trips out.
J-rap
I think I remember hearing that you tend to show sooner as you have more children. I know I did with my 4th, who was also my biggest! 9 1/2 pounds!
Leanna Tomlinson
I showed earlier with #4 (and #5-7), but I didn't keep growing at that rate. My belly was bigger earlier, but not as firm. It did not increase in size from that point on, but my belly did increase in firmness over the next couple of months. By the time I was 16 weeks all of the pregnancies were about the same. I just held steady looking 3-4 months pregnant until I actually WAS that pregnant. Then my belly started growing in size again.

tori@thehomefront
I'm halfway with my 5th, and grew out of my jeans before I even hit 10 weeks! Other people might not have noticed my bump, but I could see it. With my previous ones, I don't remember showing that early, but then, it's been 5 years since the last one. :D
MinivanMom
With my 4th, I had a little bump by 6 weeks and was into maternity clothes by 8-9 weeks.
MomatHWTK
About 3 years before I was pregnant with him and I haven't stopped showing since. :D
