I have not listened to the radio in 8 years

Recommended Posts

So I wanted to see what's new in the world of popular music.

I turn the radio on to what is listed on the internet as Fresh Music. I'm thinking fresh music is music that is fresh and new, yes?

So after what seemed like a forever amount of commercials, they play a song that I recognize.

So, can I safely assume that music hasn't changed in the past decade?

Or, think of this as a plea for youtube links to modern songs that people like.

I am not at all an avid modern music listener. But this song was good enough that I went and searched for it.

. (Warning, there was an ad for Fright Night before hand.) On the other hand, I love it because it reminds me of some of the rocker songs from Motown or the 80s.

I would go INSANE if I didn't have the radio.

IN.

SANE.

In fact, I'd love to be able to sucessfully listen to music and talk radio at the same time.

I've been enjoying this band lately:

For quite a few years, I also wasn't at all up to date with current music and thought that I would never get back into it. And this, coming from me, who has always, always loved current music. What happened was that our dc were small and nursery rhymes and all that sort of took over. ;)

Everything by Adele is superb.

:iagree:

and this artist is also one of my very favorites. Amazing voice and song. He's incredibly talented and has been performing since the age of 4. If you've read "Outliers" - well, all I can say is, he's definitely put in his 10,000 hours. :D
