stephanie
Feeling like if I got up earlier I could get more accomplished in my day. So what time do you wake up? 6:45 here!
Tutor
This semester, about 9 or 9:30. It usually changes a bit depending on my dh's semester schedule. I am NOT a morning person and generally stay up until at least midnight and get a lot done after the kids go to bed.
NicksMama-Zack's Mama Too
especially if I don't get my coffee by 8:eek:
Rich with Kids
I sleep until 8:00 or 8:30. School starts @ 9:00. Kids are on their own for breakfast. I usually have oatmeal, frozen waffles and, on rare occasion, POP TARTS! They looooove Pop Tarts!
Tracey in TX
5:45am. Like to lounge around, read, and have cup o' java before waking the munchkins. Most of my children are a "morning person", which helps. I'm exhausted by 9pm.
Guest spicygirl
Around 6:30 on school days and 7:30 on weekends.
Stacie in UT
5:15 a.m. -- I love mornings. Exercise is a must for me to get the juices flowing and keep possible diabetes at bay. With 6 sons and a hubby to care for--let alone homeschool--early morning is the only way to ensure exercise will happen consistently. Besides, when I get home from the gym I feel energized and ready for life.
Faith
I go to bed usually around midnight or 1 am. Get up around 10 am. Kids are the same, up late, sleep late.
Baseballmom
5:00. It's my only quiet time of the day (we all go to bed at the same time). I love it, and even wake up this early on the weekends and vacation :D. I hear ya! My body is so used to getting up early that I can't even sleep in when I want to. In fact, when I tell my husband I am going to sleep in he says "sure you are!" I get up between 5:30 & 6:00 and I never use an alarm. cin
I am sooo glad I'm not the only Not Morning person on the board. I try to get up around 7:30-8:00 but the kids are not allowed out of their room before 9:00, just in case I'm enjoying the cozy flannel sheets. School starts 60 minutes after we get up. Chloe
Usually around 7:15, but I'd like to start getting up at 6:30 so I can fit in exercise AND quiet time. Usually I only have time for one or the other.
Just Me
I wake up around 8, and get up by 8:30. I love to lay there and think through my day before getting up. Oh, yeah and stretching so that my back pops!! But, that said, my kids sleep until about 9, so that does give me time to myself.
Holly IN
I really wish I can get up early. Right now it is 8 to 8:30 am. My kids are up before me (and I hate that). I used to get up at 6:30 to see my dh off to work then have quiet time for me. Now working a job at nights so I don't go to bed until 12:00 or 1:00 in the morning. I wish I was a morning person (I used to be) so I can feel accomplished throughout the day. Holly
kdeno
My 4 children are early risers (I am not by nature). Lately I have been so tired due to the impending arrival of baby #5 that I have been trying to sleep until 6:30 or 7.
lollie010
I am not a morning person, but my 2 yo usually wakes me up around 5:00am, but she will lounge around with me for a little while. But, then again "waking up" would indicate that I actually got to sleep. This little one is really struggling with sleeping through the night. Laurel T. lauriep
I usually get up around 9:30am. My daughter gets up around 7am and my husband gets up around 8am. My daughter and husband have breakfast together and then he teaches her first subject. I should try to get up earlier though.
Darcy in FL
Usually around 5:45-6:00--gives me quiet time then my oldest is up at 6:30 and the other follow suit anytime after 6:30. I will say that I am MUCH more productive when I get up earlier! :)
PinkInTheBlue
Between 7:30 and 8:30. School starts between 9 and 9:30; ideally 9. I too am a night owl. I have so much more energy at night than mornings.
