Excelsior! Academy
http://christmas.organizedhome.com/holiday-grand-plan This starts August 28. Who wants to join me?:D
BamaTanya
Wow. How I admire you organized folks. I'm such a procrastinator, I've actually sent Christmas cards between Christmas and New Years. I'll have to take a look at this. I do have plans to be reincarnated as a Born Organized person. Maybe this would help?
UnsinkableKristen
I do love Christmas planning :001_smile:. We've got a Christmas budget set, and a basic plan of what we want to get for family, but that's as far as I've gotten. I love that website! Lady Florida.
Oh, I haven't done this in a while. Years ago I made the Christmas notebook, but it is in need of updating. I may have to join you. I love Organized Home and Organized Christmas. I just need to use them to my advantage.
Kelly1730
I attempted to follow this years ago but never made it the whole way through. Every little bit helps though, right? Maybe we'll give it a go again this year. Thanks for the link.

usetoschool
Did this once before and love the lists and website. I had forgotten all about it. Thanks for the reminder since this year my family is scattered to the four winds and I need to be organized if Christmas is going to be memorable. You won't abandon me will you? Keep poking me with a pointy post and keep us all on track, right? Please?
Parrothead
Am I the only one finding that site frustrating to navigate?
lmrich
I think I might spend more time organizing my organizer and not organizing my house. This looks outstanding. I have already started working on gifts, just some redwork on napkins. (don't think I am crazy - I have spent the summer in a cast with not much else to do). I love Christmas time! Stacia
Am I the only one finding that site frustrating to navigate? No, it's not just you. I find it very disorganized. (Or maybe naturally organized people understand the organization of the website w/ the tons of links & the naturally non-organized -- like me -- are not clued-in to the system?) Dolphin
I found the site frustrating too, but if it worked it would great to be organized for Christmas.
AmeliaBinMO
I'm in! More than ever this year, I want to follow through with making this holiday season more enjoyable! That can be done more easily if I am organized, and plan ahead. I really want to spend more quality time with family and friends, and spend less. Thanks! HollyBee
I'm in! That is, if I can figure out what I'm supposed to do...:001_huh:
Parrothead
No, it's not just you. I find it very disorganized. (Or maybe naturally organized people understand the organization of the website w/ the tons of links & the naturally non-organized -- like me -- are not clued-in to the system?) To my more naturally than not naturally organized brain it would seem that one click to a link should open the page one is clicking to, not open a page with yet another link. Did that make sense? UnsinkableKristen
It reminds me of FlyLady's website. I have never seen such a cluster of random links and blinking things telling your how to streamline your life...:001_huh: That said, if you can slog through the website, the system is pretty great! BamaTanya
I think I might spend more time organizing my organizer and not organizing my house.:lol: That's what I do! Oh, how I love organizing my organizers! Wonder if I can justify buying a new one to decorate with Christmas stickers??? :D
Lady Florida.
Am I the only one finding that site frustrating to navigate? I think that's why I gave up on it. Too many links leading too many different places. I'm too disorganized to understand their disorganization.
sewingmama
If anyone is interested Flylady has overhauled her website and it is much more user friendly now. I always failed at her system because stuff was just everywhere but its basically all on one page now. As for Christmas organisation - do people really need 4 months to prepare :001_huh: That's a lot of work for just one day. I keep Christmas simple so all that planning is just crazy overkill to me. No wonder people hate the holidays if you have all that stuff to do :001_huh:
