She is still no where ready to leave the hospital but she will no longer be in ICU!!!!!! Sooo happy! Amanda is not doing well. She is still in ICU in serious condition (that has been upgraded from critical though) She is still on 100% oxygen. They had a lung specialist there and he ran tests on her to determine what the spots on her lungs are. They doctors initially thought they were burns from the smoke but now they are not sure. I have not heard what the lung specialists test results said (if they are even back yet) So please continue praying for her! For those of you who have no clue what I am talking about, check out this thread. Praying for everyone involved in this tragedy. They do have somewhere to stay. Somebody donated something (how is that for answering lol) I don't know if it is a house, an apartment or what. Her dh is back from Joplin. They need prayers- there is alot of tension between the two-- I won't get into details but I fully believe its a difference in their coping styles. He is doing things that I KNOW would not happen if he were thinking clearly (nothing dangerous/destructive, but none the less stressful for Amanda and in her condition added stress is dangerous) I can not imagine the stress they are under, and I fully believe it his way of attempting to deal with this and I certainly can not say anything about his actions without being where he is mentally right now, ya know? I mean I know how this has affected ME, I can not imagine what Jimmy and Amanda are going through. They just both need desperate prayers for unity and not to turn against each other! The found out today that Trentin was burned (they had earlier been told that he was not) and that only his eye's would be shown during the open casket-- and he said some things, that again, I know he didn't mean. Its just so hard. They had to make funeral arraignments yesterday:angelsad2: so that could be where some of this is coming from.
