Belacqua
How nifty! I spent waaaaay too much time watching her today, and tomorrow's not looking much more productive, especially if the eggs hatch.

Giraffe
Only see one hatchling - did something happen to one of them? There's an egg yet to hatch, one hatchling, and the remains of the rabbit. Worried about the other baby bird... ETA - found it. Belacqua
When the mama shifts back and forth for a few minutes, what is she doing? Is she getting comfortable? Fixing the next? Trying to make progress on the last egg? The larger hatchling is trying to get more upright, but he keeps faceplanting. Can't be easy to stand up in that big nest when you're so tiny. readinmom
Wow, we've all been watching this today. DH loves eagles, so I think he is watching more than the kids.

3lilreds in NC
Oooh, how cool! I will try to remember to watch tomorrow around 11 or so to see if we can see them eating!
Storm Bay
Are all three hatchlings still alive? Don't some types of eagles' chicks kill each other? Is this that kind of eagle? I remember seeing that on TV and was horrified. I just looked and the parent is sitting on the nest so I can't see any chicks.

I the littles don't try to take each other out. :001_huh:
