  1. That was a good article. Thanks for posting. It touched on some aspects I had not thought about.
  2. "Though Jazz likes dressing as a girl, he doesn't seem to want to be mistaken for one. He recently asked his mother to let the leaders of a nature center know that he's a boy. And he chose not to attend a conventional school because of the questions about his gender. Asked whether that upsets him, Jazz nodded." This is when I as a mother would say "OK, experiment over."
  3. I don't have anything to add, but wanted to offer my appreciation and prayers for his safe return. <<hugs>> to him and all his family.
  4. Just wanted to give an update. Been using the Oil of Olay face brush for a little over a week and I love it. It is great. I don't find it to be too abrassive. (a complaint by some). There are 2 speeds and you can increase or decrease pressure, so I find it works great. Thanks for the recommendation Barb. I received my sample packets from Paula's Choice a couple of days ago. So far, I am not too pleased, but I need to give it more time. The cleanser seems a little too mild, maybe.... If anyone else is going to get the sample packets, please be aware that the toner sample is good for only 1 application. Ther other packets get about 2-3 applications.
  5. You're right I don't believe it!! Forget Blockbuster, Netflix it straight into your home!! Instant play - RUN don't walk!!
  6. All the talk about JD, and well what's a girl to do but watch one of his movies. 7. :iagree: I think she and her sister are laughing all the way to the bank, and then handing off to charity. The current bid is £75,110.
  8. I was cleaning up dd room and found a poem she wrote. I had to share: Subjects Grammer should be in the slammer Math is the path to wrath Reading should take a beating History is a mystery Science is an expensive appliance Spelling is an awful dwelling Play is a birthday :lol::lol: Yes, this is going into storage to pull out when she graduates!!
  9. <<<many hugs to you and yours>>> My mom lived with us while going through chemo. She was stage 4B and I was pregnant, so everything was pretty stressful. I only used curriculum that the kids could do on their own, I put my youngest in school, and we hired a housekeeper to come in 1x a week. Do whatever you need to do to keep your stress down and use your energy to get well.
  10. I think you ought to poll this one. You might get more responses. Personally, I would like to know the ages of people who respond too. Does one become more or less happy as they age?? I dont know what I am. I go back and forth.
  11. Writing A musical instrument course (guitar, piano, etc.) Foreign languages Science - esp. ones that require equipment difficult for me to get, like telescopes for Astronomy. Unusual sports or physical activities that require someone knowledgeable and trained like fencing, white water kayaking, rock climbing, etc.
  12.:lol::lol: Ages of Grace looks pretty boxy to me too. What does that mean?? hmmm..... :D I really like it though, and for 50$ how can you go wrong. A lot of bang for your buck imo.
