blakereese
We love using popcorn glaze. There are several flavors, and all of the ones we tried are yummy. Never had a problem cleaning our whirly pop, which has always surprised me. It seems mess proof! :tongue_smilie: My sister bought us the whirly pop several years ago for Christmas, and it has been one of our favorite gifts ever. We use it more than any other kitchen gadget. The kids love helping when we make popcorn.

Susie in SWVA
We have two Whirley-Pops. One for popcorn and one for roasting coffee. It works better than the expensive coffee roasters. Susie in SWVA
mirth
Red hots - yummy! Aha. I went to check and you were the one! So you have no problem putting either choc chips or red hots in there? Very excited! I also commend you on your bravery and ingenuity. Ok, do you think toffee bits (Heath bar crumbles) would work too?

Susie in SWVA WOW! Our $100-roaster is on its last-ish legs. How long do you sit there and twirl it for? Is it constant twirling or occasional? Tell me more! We love our green beans. :)

Quad Shot Academy
Red hots - yummy! When do you add them in the popping process? Right at the beginning, like Kettle corn?

Parrothead
So that you can get fresh candy-coated or caramel popcorn out of it. Hopefully. Either that or to deposit an uneven and hopelessly charred, carbon shellac coating in your pan. Honest to goodness it is a simple process to clean with warm soapy water. Parrothead
When do you add them in the popping process? Right at the beginning, like Kettle corn? Yes, right in with the popcorn and oil.

Desert Strawberry
I've only done kettle corn, and that made me very nervous. Doesn't the chocolate burn? I'm seriously wishing I hadn;t pased on the huge bags of clearance redhots at the store today.
