Starr
Oh Dawn those extras sure make it hard. Take it easy but do your walking and breathing. :D The kids will be fine. It's an extra bonus that you started school in July. You are in our prayers. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
momof3sofar
Thank you everyone!!! Today I was able to take a (sponge) bath (still have my drains in) and wash my hair completely. That alone has made such a difference in how I feel. I'm a little worried about how hard the reconstruction is on the right side but that was the one with the bleeding and extra work done so I am praying it will just heal slower than the left side. I can tell my iron levels are slowly rising because I can stay awake for several hours at a time now. Each and every prayer has been felt and is so appreciated!! Knowing that I am cancer free makes all of this worth it, and God willing I will stay that way for many decades to come!
Sparkle
Dawn, hugs and prayers for you. I'm sorry you've had such a difficult time, but I hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly and quickly. Get LOTS of rest and don't try to do too much too soon! :grouphug:

momof3sofar
One last update, I promise! Today was my first visit back to my surgeons (well 2 of the 3) since I was released. I was able to have one drain removed and was told that I am CANCER FREE!!!! My cancer was completely contained within the ducts so since I had the mastectomy there are total and complete clear margins, no node involvement, nothing. I will not need chemo nor radiation. I have a long way to go healing wise but I just had to share my fantastic news! Praising the Lord in Illinois!!!!
TravelingChris
Of course you will have a lot of us praying for you, including me. :grouphug:. I know how much harder any procedure is with an underlying illness so extra :grouphug: to you from another chronically ill person.
