nukeswife
My dd and I ran to Petsmart to pick up a few supplies today and it was adoption day. They had a few cats and some dogs. My dd fell in love with a 6yr old Tabby named Sammy. He's a huge lump of a cat, loves to cuddle and has gorgeous coloring. When I asked about him the adoption fee was only $20 because he's already neutered and has all of his shots. He's even got a micro chip already. They did tell me that today was his last chance for adoption and that if nobody wanted him after today's big "Adoption day" that he would be put down. He's very sweet, and couldn't care less that we have a very active Pug and another cat. Our younger (2 yr old male) cat isn't quite sure about the "invasion" yet, but is just watching Sammy. Who is peacefully curled up sleeping on my bed. Here's a picture of him hanging out on youngest ds's bed after we got him home. That's not his tail in front of him, that's my son's stuffed raccoon. Belacqua
He's gorgeous! He looks so content (and a little smug, as if he knew all along somebody would fall for him and give him a wonderful home). Thank you for rescuing him. :001_smile:
