blessed3x Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 My FIL just died this morning. Thankfully, dh is still there and was able to be with him. Please keep the family in your prayers. Two other siblings are traveling to SC now from PA. MIL is doing well considering. She knows he is finally out of pain and in a better place. The end was so awful.... My MIL and all 4 siblings are going to the funeral home today to make arrangements for next weekend. Next Friday we will drive back for the funeral and do what we can for my MIL. I have suggested to dh that he and his brother talk about each us making trips to help with maintenance and hour upkeep for my MIL. Every 3-4 months or so? She has someone taking care of the yard, but during the past 3-4 months we have both gone down and fixed things while FIL's health was decreasing. It seems like that will need to be continued.
